Talking About it Tuesday #67

I hope, if you celebrate Easter, that your family had a good one. We have a very busy week or two staring us in the face and I might not make it around to comment on everyone's posts but I promise to at least visit and pin them whenever I get a chance!

With spring finally starting to spring up here, I couldn't help but notice lots of gardening posts linked up with us last week. I hope to tackle my own flower gardens soon and at least get all the leaves raked out of them. Do you have a garden?

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. With the house renovation, we are only able to keep the garden tidy and take care of the plants as needed. No new plants this year. Happy gardening to you. Thanks so much for hosting!

    1. Thank you! I think I'll put off gardening for another week or two. We went from cold and winter like to hot and muggy so I'm hoping some in between spring weather will show itself soon.

  5. These days I'm pulling some very weird weeds from my little garden areas ...

    1. That sounds odd... and annoying. I really hate weed pulling but it's got to be done.

  7. It seems that you live in a very cold region. Than it´s a pleasure I assume when it gets warmer and the flowers begin to bloom. Hope you don´t have too much stress this week.
All the best and have a fine time

    1. Yeah it certainly can be. Once the warm weather moves in it can also get oddly hot and muggy so we get a whole variety of weather where we live.

  8. I love checking out the links! I'm going to start my garden this year. We don't have many flowers at the new house so I'm hoping to get some going! I planted some containers and basil last spring.

  11. It was a busy weekend with church and a party, but also restful in some ways. We planted some flower seeds and cleaned up the yard. I am enjoying the mild spring days.

  13. Thanks so much for hosting the party every week. I, too am a big fan of garden photography and really appreciate the feature for the "Nurturing Nature". A garden is a true labor of love and takes a lot of work. Fortunately, when you are among the plants it doesn't seem at all like work. Hope you have a lovely week.

    1. You're welcome! I actually hate gardening and being out in the dirt with the bugs.... but can't give it up because I do love seeing those pretty blooms so much. It's all worth it in the end.

  14. We do, it is about 100X60 plus a second set of raised beds for melons. We are about done planting, and are now building trellis structures from "Yoepine" shrubs cut down. Those shrubs just about take over everything here in Texas. Thanks so much for hosting, wishing you a great week ahead! Melynda @scratchmadefood!

    1. That sounds like a lot! LOL But I know you get so much out of it.. I have never gotten to eat the fruits of my labor aside from one basil plant that did really well one summer. I have zero clue when it comes to growing fruits and vegetables but I keep on trying figuring one of these days I might get it right.

  19. I have the smallest of areas in which to plant things. I would love to till up this square part of my yard for a small vegetable and flower garden. I would have to get permission, then actually do the work! I'm not currently linking up because my laptop won't let me. I know it has something to do with security things my son put on it, but trying to explain link parties to him is like speaking to a wall! Thanks, anyway!
