Talking About It Tuesday #59
Happy Tuesday! Are you happy to see February wrapping up? I'm pretty excited since Alec will be home all next week for his spring break. I'm hopeful we can get some summer/vacation planning done while he's here. So far no one seems to care much about going away this year. But I am ready for some vacations-- even if I only get to plan a couple weekend trips around New England for just my husband and I. Do you have any fun trips planned?
Thank you for joining us for another Talking About it Tuesday. I love seeing the variety of content shared each week. We had so many fun and fabulous recipes and crafts and outfit ideas at the last party and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this week.
The link with the most views from last week's party:

A few that caught my eye:

Easy Breakfast Egg Muffin Recipe by The Wooden Spoon Effect

This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

DeleteIt's exciting that it's almost spring break time of year! I hope Alec has a wonderful break. I love the Lego roses. Alyssa got that same set for me last year for Mother's Day. We had a great time assembling the roses together.
ReplyDeleteThank you; it sounds like Alec has a busy week planning catching up with all his old friends.
DeleteThey probably don't want to plan another vacation because ya'll just got back from Hawaii. Yes, I'm excited to see the end of February, although I know March and April can bring the worst snowstorms of the year.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much what they all said. I'm ALWAYS up for vacation planning.... especially in winter. Our March and April can be pretty awful too. We've even had flurries in May before.
DeleteI'm ready for some vacations too! We are starting to plan a few things but nothing is set yet. Thanks for hosting. Love that dresser!
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few ideas floating around but nothing cemented yet either.
DeleteAll the new floral legos are so fun. My younger son gets those for his girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteThey are so fun!
DeleteWe're looking forward to a trip to Delaware to visit friends in April. It will give us a preview of spring's coming attractions before spring wakes up here in New England.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds so fun!
DeleteWhile I don't care much about fashion (lifestyle and lack of interest on my part, sadly) I so enjoy Within A World of My Own, she is fearless in her posts. Thanks for hosting, I appreciate it. Have a great week ahead,
ReplyDeleteShe really is! I love her outfits and seeing all the beautiful bracelets she makes.
DeleteI am itching to get things booked for the next half of the year. I did book my flight to Arizona but we need to book our hotel for Nashville and planes for New York so I can find a rental there. My oldest is funny because he wants to go on vacation with us this summer, but he also needs to have a job or internship so we shall see what he can do!

Yeah I'm waiting on everyone's summer plans/work schedules to firm up a bit more. Alec mentioned possibly not even moving home for the summer if he can find a campus job that includes summer housing!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your visits!!
My Link Ups for today's party are # 31, 32 and 33!!

DeleteWe have some plans dear Joanne. In October we go to Mauritius, in August we have booked a tango argentino workshop in an wonderful spa-hotel, and maybe we travel to Italy.... Have a good time and all the best

Oh that all sounds so wonderful! I've always wanted to go to Italy. I've never heard of Mauritius but I did just Google it and wow that looks beautiful!
DeleteI just booked my Vegas flight today for a travel agent conference in June. Really looking forward to it, as I have never been to Vegas before. Have a wonderful week! I am entry #39!
ReplyDeleteOh Vegas is so fun! They have some of the best shows there.
DeleteI'm looking forward to experiencing your vacation vicariously! But seriously, I do need to book some time off work for myself; it's been a go-go-go since mid-November and I would like to take break (we'll see how it goes!). Thanks for the feature, too - I love the variety of posts you pick to feature each week.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, even just to have that brain break is so important. Staycations can be just a fulfilling.
DeleteThanks Joanne for hosting this fun blog party. My contribution this week is #45, 46, and 47. Enjoy and be well.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!

DeleteHappy Tuesday, Joanne! Have a wonderful week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThank you! So far it's been a beautiful week.
DeleteLots to explore here. I am looking forward to a few days away somewhere too. We don't go far in summer - way too hot. Have a fabulous week and thankyou again for the linkup.
ReplyDeleteWe never used to travel in the summer just because we live in a fabulous summer spot but lately with the boys' schedules it seems to work better.
DeleteOh my gosh that dresser! So pretty! Hope you have a good week. I am going to go read your homeschooling post too. It's always very encouraging for me.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that gorgeous?!
DeleteI have been nagging my husband about a getaway! I am desperate to escape a bit. Hopefully next month. I LOVE your lego flowers - they are on my birthday list.
