Talking About It Tuesday #59

Happy Tuesday! Are you happy to see February wrapping up? I'm pretty excited since Alec will be home all next week for his spring break. I'm hopeful we can get some summer/vacation planning done while he's here. So far no one seems to care much about going away this year. But I am ready for some vacations-- even if I only get to plan a couple weekend trips around New England for just my husband and I. Do you have any fun trips planned?

Thank you for joining us for another Talking About it Tuesday. I love seeing the variety of content shared each week. We had so many fun and fabulous recipes and crafts and outfit ideas at the last party and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this week.

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

  2. It's exciting that it's almost spring break time of year! I hope Alec has a wonderful break. I love the Lego roses. Alyssa got that same set for me last year for Mother's Day. We had a great time assembling the roses together.

  3. They probably don't want to plan another vacation because ya'll just got back from Hawaii. Yes, I'm excited to see the end of February, although I know March and April can bring the worst snowstorms of the year.

    1. That is pretty much what they all said. I'm ALWAYS up for vacation planning.... especially in winter. Our March and April can be pretty awful too. We've even had flurries in May before.

  6. We're looking forward to a trip to Delaware to visit friends in April. It will give us a preview of spring's coming attractions before spring wakes up here in New England.

  7. While I don't care much about fashion (lifestyle and lack of interest on my part, sadly) I so enjoy Within A World of My Own, she is fearless in her posts. Thanks for hosting, I appreciate it. Have a great week ahead,

  8. I am itching to get things booked for the next half of the year. I did book my flight to Arizona but we need to book our hotel for Nashville and planes for New York so I can find a rental there. My oldest is funny because he wants to go on vacation with us this summer, but he also needs to have a job or internship so we shall see what he can do!

    1. Yeah I'm waiting on everyone's summer plans/work schedules to firm up a bit more. Alec mentioned possibly not even moving home for the summer if he can find a campus job that includes summer housing!

  12. I'm looking forward to experiencing your vacation vicariously! But seriously, I do need to book some time off work for myself; it's been a go-go-go since mid-November and I would like to take break (we'll see how it goes!). Thanks for the feature, too - I love the variety of posts you pick to feature each week.
