Talking About it Tuesday #53

What on.... how?... I can't believe we are nearly 1/2 through January already! I'm not complaining though. I often feel like January, February, and even March can drag right on by. But I am trying to plan some fun things to look forward to every few weeks and enjoy this cozy season at home. I loved reading all the yearly reviews and intentions and goals and seeing so much hope and gratitude. I enjoyed last week's party so much and can't wait to see what you have to share with us today.

A few that caught my eye:

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

  3. Time really flies. I've been enjoying the winter so far. It feels good to "nest" after a busy gardening season. Thanks for the party.

    1. It sure does! I'm mostly feeling guilty that I might be embracing the "nesting" part just a bit too much. LOL

  4. Thanks for the link up. I'd hoped to have a post for today but no can do :(. I will just enjoy reading others'. I am enjoying the relative quietness of this month (in terms of commitments/social obligations) and am embracing getting things done at home.

  8. Joanne, I love that idea of purposefully planning fun things that will get us out and about and connected with people face to face. It can be a long winter ...

    1. I'm just feeling like I don't have many people here to get out and about and connected with; which is making this winter seem much harder and longer than others.

  9. January has been a transition month I think over here, I don't mind it going by quickly, but we did have some fun things going on: one day of snow, baby shower coming up this week and thinking of going to Chattanooga for my friend's book launch party. I am still hoping for one good snow!

  11. We're in the super cold zone, so I'm cozying in at home, looking back at historic homes and museums in England and planning my next trip! (Whether it is to be actualized or just a glorious diversion is yet to be determined!). Have a wonderful day and week and thanks for hosting!

  13. I can not believe how fast this month is going either. Winter does drag...February honestly seems sooo long here. But there is a lot I like about being cozy and at home too so I don't mind too much. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.
