Fall Color Challenge of Chocolate and Cream with Ageless Style.
It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Amy picked styling a fall color challenge with chocolate brown and cream for our ageless style group.
I actually have two very different looks to share today; one more dressy and one more casual. For the dressier outfit I paired one of my favorite cream sweaters with a new pair of wide legged pants from my latest Stitch Fix box.
I love these pants! They are so comfy and while you can't tell in the photo they have a very subtle plaid print on them. I paired them with a pair of brown boots and some jewelry in shades of brown.
For my second outfit I paired one of my favorite chocolate brown sweaters from an old Stitch Fix box with a new pair of flared jeans I recently got. I kept the same jewelry but swapped out my boots for a pair of chocolate brown booties.
I like both outfits a lot but I'm much more likely to wear the second outfit... with a pair of flip flops. Like I changed into immediately after our hike.😊

The cream colored sweater in the first set of pictures is really pretty! The jeans are flattering. I like both outfits :).
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love both looks very much! So perfect for fall!

Aw, thanks!
DeleteI love both of those outfits! I recently bought some wide leg pants, but I have yet to wear them. I feel like they don't look great on me.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel like wide-leg pants look great on me either but they are so nice and comfy that I just can't help wearing them anyway.
DeleteI like the sweater and jeans look! Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou look great in both outfits. I know the second outfit is more 'you', but I love the first outfit, especially those pants!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI think that chocolate brown is the quintessential fall color-just love it and love that sweater on you!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!
DeleteSo pretty.

Thank you!
DeleteYou crack me up that you still wear flip flops in November, LOL. Love that you showcased two fabulous looks.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jodie
Thanks so much! Though it is getting colder and colder so my flip flop days are definitely numbered.
DeleteLove your sweaters, as always!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI like them both. I'm always reminding my stitch fix stylist that it's warm here. Send me something that says winter but feels like spring : )
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm always reminding them it's cold here... and yet they still sent a short sleeved top in this box anyway! I kept it for spring (it had elastic puffed sleeves so I couldn't really wear it under anything either).
DeleteObsessed with the dressier option! The wide leg pants are perfect on you and that top!!!!! I love the neckline detail because it just elevates the look from casual to interesting and fancy. Well done!

Aw, thank you!
DeleteOh, my goodness! I had to laugh at your flip flop comment! I love both of your outfits. It's interesting they both came from Stitch Fix boxes...or just a happy little accident!

I feel like a lot of my "favorite" clothes at this point have come from Stitch Fix boxes and those are the pieces that have lasted through closet clean out year after year too.
DeleteThose sweaters are very nice and look cozy and warm for winter. Not a fan of the jeans though, us folks with short chunky legs can't wear those, nothing worse than little kids at the mall pointing out the obvious. Unless you're Melania Trump, tight flair leg jeans are best left in the charity box.
ReplyDeleteOh I just LOVE flare leg jeans and was so happy to see them come back into style. But I will wear just about any style of jean.
DeleteI've always loved brown, such a warm colour. That sweater is great! Flipflop in this time of year, lol , my feet would freeze off!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We've had a pretty warm November so it's pretty unusual for me to still get to wear them but I am definitely not complaining about it.
DeleteThat brown sweater looks so cozy! If it were in my closet I would be wearing it on repeat.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!
DeleteLol I love that you put your flip-flops right back on. It's good to have those things we love like that. Both outfits are so cute, but I love that brown sweater!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the neckline of that white top! It's so unique and very flattering on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I love that neckline too.
DeleteYou and your flip flops make me smile. That first sweater is so feminine and flirty. Really pretty and chic. That outfit would be perfect for date night, a fancy date night. The second outfit is darling. I like the shirttail hem on the sweater, and its longer, covering the bootie length. I'm like you, I would wear the second outfit more often but it is nice having choices!!
ReplyDeleteIt really is so nice to have choices.
DeleteYou look lovely in both outfits but my favourite has to be the jeans and sweater. Got to rock the flip-flops! Comfort at its best lol. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI really like those two sweaters: the first one reminds me of one I wore this past week and I love the marbled look of the second. Nice choice of accessories too!
