Talking About it Tuesday #38

Hello there and happy Tuesday! Thank you for joining us today. We have quite a busy whirlwind of a week going. We spent our weekend helping my mom and step-father clean out the house for their closing this week; please send them good wishes that all goes well with the closing! We're also gearing up for a fun birthday weekend with Evan; taking him to his first concert ever (which we made into an overnight trip since I do NOT want to be driving home that late!).  Without Alec at home it falls to me (once again) to make the birthday meal and dessert. We're thinking some sort of cheesecake and we'll have a little party with the grandparents to celebrate.

How have you been? I hope September has been treating you well. I can't wait to see what delightful things you share with us this week.

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

  1. I forgot your baker is not available right now to help out with desserts... Good thing you are adept in the kitchen :). How exciting for Evan to go to a concert. Will be interested to read about it if you share! Have a great Tuesday and thanks for the link up.

  7. My sons first concert was at Caesar's in Atlantic City when Joe received comp tickets for the 4 of us to see the Moody Blues for Free...They were 10 and 12 years old and loved it...Since then, they both have gone to many concerts and Joe and I were privileged to have gone to close to 70 concerts before he passed away... Thanks so much for hosting and thanks for stopping by!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well...

    1. He's lucky we agreed because this will be my... 3rd concert and my husband's first. We are not big concert goers or music lovers so we're mostly doing this just for him. Though, thankfully, I do like the band he picked to go see!
