Talking About it Tuesdays #33
I can't believe this week marks the middle of August already. I really feel like this month is just flying by! We had a very rainy week last week which meant I was able to get quite a bit done around the house and read a few more books too. Have you read anything good lately?
It's Tuesday and time for another link up! I love seeing what everyone is sharing each week and love the struggle to pick out just a few posts to feature. It really is the hardest part of hosting since there are so many wonderful ideas shared each week. Thank you all for making this party such a success!
The link with the most views from last week's party:
A few that caught my eye:
Salmon Caprese by Kitty's Kozy Kitchen
DIY Handmade Soap: How to Make Your Own Natural Bars by Krafty Planner
This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

Sorry about the weather being less than ideal for outdoor activities but sometimes it´s nice to be forced to do things indoors like read and craft :). Our weather has been lovely- not super hot, not humid just great temperatures with cloudless cerulean blue skies- and I have been trying to enjoy it. Thanks for the link up each week!

DeleteAugust is flying by, isn’t it? Yesterday, I could tell Fall is on the horizon, although I couldn’t really pinpoint what had changed.
ReplyDeleteEvery now and then (this past week or so) it feels a bit more like fall than summer here too!
DeleteI think the book I’ve enjoyed most recently, is Kismet by Amina Akhtar. And yes, August does seem to be going so fast!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look into that one.
DeleteThat Salmon Caprese looks delicious! Thanks for hosting, sharing at 28, 30 and 31. Have a great week ahead, Melynda @scratchmadefood!

DeleteThis month really is flying by! Though, truthfully, I'm hoping our final winter in Fairbanks flies by, as well.
ReplyDeleteThat salmon looks so good! Maybe I should try that with one of our fresh-caught fillets!

ReplyDeleteI thought it looked so good we added it to our menu for this week.
DeleteThanks so much for hosting this party, Joanne! I don't like salmon, but I think chicken breasts would work just as well. Have a fabulous rest of the week!

Yes, it definitely would (I've made those before).
DeleteYou chose such fun features, Joanne! That salmon caprese looks divine! I bet it is difficult to choose each week! Thanks for taking on the tast! We appreciate you! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I try so hard to make sure I'm not always featuring the same blogs too so I can share the love.
DeleteOh that salmon does look delish- thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteI love the variety of posts linked up! I am going to read a few post and then it is haircut time. Trying to be better about going every 3 months!

Good luck keeping it up! I find the key is to schedule my next appointment right when I'm getting my haircut then even if that exact day and time doesn't work out I'm calling her to reschedule and not to try and remember to call TO schedule.
DeleteHope that the weather breaks for you. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThis week has been beautiful with lots of sun and very mild (nearly fall-like!) temps.
DeleteThank you so much for featuring my salmon caprese, Joanne. I hope this week is a beautiful one.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteI think I need a week of rain to slow things down. This week was fairly busy, tomorrow will be very busy, and then I think that things will slow down for a little bit over the weekend!
