Our New Favorite Steakhouse Marinade Recipe

We have been grilling and smoking all sorts of meats now that summer is here. While we've tried lots of marinade recipes and rubs one of our new favorites has been this steakhouse marinade that I made. So far we've tried it on steak/beef, pork chops, and even chicken. All were equally good and flavorful.

I loosely followed a few other recipes online and combined ingredients to make our own.

In a small bowl I combined:
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning
Then I try to marinate the meat for at least an hour; though often I'll make it up in the morning and set it to marinate all day.

While this marinade is great on the grill or in the oven we decided to use our air fryer this time.

I used my meat thermometer to cook them until they were around 160 inside (my preferred temp for pork though I know pork doesn't have to be cooked that long).

As you can see there is plenty of seasoning left on the pork chops even after flipping them over 1/2 way through cooking. The marinade browns up nicely and has a good flavor.

  1. I love coming up with delicious marinades! Yours sounds yummy. I always use a blend of olive oil, Olive Garden Italian dressing, low sodium soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. I use it on chicken, and it's amazing!

  10. Sounds good! I have a really delicious marinade for a pork tenderloin I haven't done in a while. I sometimes get lazy and buy the pre-seasoned. We love Montreal Steak seasoning so I'll have to give this a try.

  13. I've never cooked marinated, usually on the grill-type food in the air fryer. I'll have to give it a try. The marinade sounds yummy. I posted a link on my Life Last Week post for a lemon-garlic marinade which was delicious.
