Our New Favorite Steakhouse Marinade Recipe
We have been grilling and smoking all sorts of meats now that summer is here. While we've tried lots of marinade recipes and rubs one of our new favorites has been this steakhouse marinade that I made. So far we've tried it on steak/beef, pork chops, and even chicken. All were equally good and flavorful.
I loosely followed a few other recipes online and combined ingredients to make our own.
In a small bowl I combined:
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning
I used my meat thermometer to cook them until they were around 160 inside (my preferred temp for pork though I know pork doesn't have to be cooked that long).
As you can see there is plenty of seasoning left on the pork chops even after flipping them over 1/2 way through cooking. The marinade browns up nicely and has a good flavor.

I love coming up with delicious marinades! Yours sounds yummy. I always use a blend of olive oil, Olive Garden Italian dressing, low sodium soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. I use it on chicken, and it's amazing!
