Flower Garden Photos From June and July
I walked around the garden one morning at the very end of June after a night of heavy rains.
I have no idea what these hanging vines in one of the mixed pots I bought is but I loved that mid-way through July they had all these tiny bright pink blooms on them!
Linking up with: Final Fridays, Spread the Kindness,
Wow, so pretty! Love the variety of colors in your beautiful flowers. Many of my flowers bloomed in early June and are, sadly, no longer in bloom.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo very beautiful! Such lovely colours. My garden is screaming out for a little bit of rain, but it will have to wait...
ReplyDeleteThank you! We've had lots of rain-- usually in the evenings or overnight so that helps our garden stay nice and green.
DeleteGorgeous! I wish I had more flowers in my yard. I am really into zinnias now. My hydrangea still has a few blooms. It was so pretty this year and I'm so grateful!
ReplyDeleteMy hydrangeas are a variety called endless summer and once it blooms they stay bloomed until fall but the blue will slowly darken to a purple and then a deep reddish purple color. They're pretty neat.
DeleteYour flowers are gorgeous! Hydrangeas are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I have told my family a few times that if I had to landscape all over again I'd just plant all sorts of varieties of hydrangeas everywhere.
DeleteYour gardens are beautiful! So many lovely colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful photos, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteThe bright pink blooms are a lovely touch.
Your garden looks so vibrant after the rain!
Thank you so much!
DeleteThese are just beautiful- awesome job Joanne!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThese are all so beautiful, Joanne!!

DeleteI do love garden photos; yours are quite beautiful. I love the close-ups. #MMBC
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteHi Jo - it's the middle of winter here in Australia and seeing all your bright vibrant blossoms just made my evening. I'm already looking forward to Spring a the warmer weather (and flowers!)
ReplyDeleteThank you! This made me smile! So glad I could make your evening.
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comments...Yes, the faux brick/stone wall did come out as I envisioned and I am very happy that I did it..The one thing I learned a long time ago is that everything pops out with rich color behind it....Have you ever noticed that on TV and in movies, most "homes" do not have white walls??? I do love the cardigans I bought too...Glad you were able to pick up some great buys for your son's dorm room!!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!!
Hugs,

Yes, we don't have any white walls in our house either! I love color much too much to live with plain white-- though I do and can appreciate that aesthetic in other people's homes.
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteSenior moment as I posted my party thank you!! I meant to comment on how beautiful all your gorgeous blooms are!!! Enjoy your week!!

LOL! No problem. :)
DeleteWhat beautiful photos! I'd love to see a photo of your whole garden :o)
ReplyDeleteI have those little pink flowers too. They're really pretty but I can't remember what they're called!
#MMBC
Aw, thank you! These are actually taken from lots of small gardens we have all around the house. But I should take some wide angled shots.
DeleteSo pretty! Our flowers in Tx are struggling with the heat right now.
ReplyDeleteOh I bet! I had one plant-- the mini dahlias in the first shot that didn't end up making it through our last heat wave (despite my watering!).
DeleteLovely photos! My hydrangea is suffering and I don't know if it's the heat or too much rain.
ReplyDeleteI am just awful at knowing what is wrong with my plants when they aren't doing well.. I do not have much of a green thumb. One of my rose bushes-- my favorite coral one. Has gotten eaten alive by something this year and looks like lots of dead sticks poking out of the ground and I have no idea what to do about that. But I had years where my hydrangeas look awful and others where they are nice and lush and full so I've got to assume it's the weather.
DeleteOh Joanne, your flowers are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful! It’s so cool you caught the insect (grasshopper) in the daylily. Flowers make me feel so peaceful, yet energized at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYour flowers are just beautiful and the raindrops on them makes them look even prettier.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSuch a beautiful variety! I agree, that flowering vine is nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWow Joanne, your flowers look so pretty. Some of mine have died because of this hot summer. I need to replace them!
ReplyDeleteI've only had one that couldn't hold up to the heat but I've made it a point to water anything in a pot every night when I get ready to start cooking dinner. The ones planted in the ground seem to be holding up okay since we are getting rain at least once a week.
DeleteSuch beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo many lovely colors. They are beautiful!
ReplyDelete-Soma
Aw, thanks!
DeleteBeautiful flowers! I have to fight off the deer here to get anything ay all time to bloom.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure the deer ate one of my rhododendrons over the fall/winter because I have one that is just branches this year and hasn't had a single leaf on it.
DeleteJoanne, these are beautiful! Are these all in your yard?
ReplyDeleteYep, all over in various parts of the yard.
DeleteThose are beautiful, and not the scenery we see at this time of year, LOL
ReplyDeleteXOOX
JOdie
Thank you!
DeleteThey're all so pretty. 🌻💚
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWow! Your flowers are gorgeous, Joanne! We have had all this rain, and one of my pots didn't have drainage holes. Those plants are looking quite unhappy. Mike drilled holes into it so at least their feet aren't quite as muddy!

I've had that happen a few times in past years!
DeleteSo many beautiful flowers in your garden, wow! I love your photos and they have made me even more excited about spring coming our way!

Thank you so much!
DeleteSuch a beautiful garden with so many lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOh, girl!! These photos are such well done. And the colors and shapes and sizes (and smells??) of your garden are just gorgeous and so varied. I think these photos would be so cute framed in little 4x4 floating frames for a spring-summer arrangement in your house. OR MINE!!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeletePinned your post. Your garden flowers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteYour flowers are so beautiful! It's reminding me that I need to get out my camera and take a closer look at the flowers in my own yard too. There's something about seeing them through the lens of a camera (even if it's a phone) that makes me notice the details much better!
ReplyDeleteVery true! I find it helps me ignore those area of the garden that don't look so good at the time too.
DeleteGorgeous flowers! It must feel so good to have so many beautiful flowers all around you. Ours are struggling this year with the extreme heat.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo gorgeous! I absolutely love all the colors! Thanks for sharing this post with us at the Will Blog for Comments #43 linkup. We hope to see you at #44, too. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteVery pretty, I like the raindrops on the petals. I was just drafting up my own gardening post for this week's #SixOnSaturday gardening blog meme.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love taking photos after the rain or when things are sparkling in the dew in the morning.
DeleteI enjoyed the walk around your garden to see all the beautiful flowers blooming. I'm especially fond of the first one which I think is a dahlia, and also the small vine that hangs downward.
ReplyDeleteThank you and yes that it a variation of a dahlia.
DeleteThose are your garden flowers? WOW!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! We have a huge yard so I have lots of gardens tucked here there and everywhere.
DeleteI really like the first three - not sure why they catch my eye more than the others but they're lovely. #GMAlinkup
ReplyDeleteThank you!
