Talking About it Tuesdays #26

Is anyone else feeling a bit surprised that next week is already July? I feel like the months are just flying by at warp speed this year. We have one final lazy feeling week this week and I am soaking it all in. Today my younger boys and I plan to go to lunch with my mom. We just have to agree on a place to go!

I'm sorry for those friends in the southern hemisphere as, yet again, my features all focus on summer. I am just so happy to finally have some consistently warm, sunny weather and I am definitely embracing ALL the summer fun. We had so many wonderful posts linked up with us last week. Sometimes I feel like the hardest job about hosting is trying to pick just a few to feature.

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

  2. Thanks for hosting! Have fun at lunch today. We are going to check out McDonald´s $5 lunch today. So unhealthy but gotta take advantage of that cheaper for the ¨new normal¨ price tag of a meal :).

    1. I can't remember the last time I ate at a McDonald's... I keep hearing how much their prices went up and I know they are working hard to lower them again though. I hope you enjoy your lunch!

  4. Happy Tuesday, Joanne! It's been raining (and flooding) here in Minnesota of late and we finally have a week of beautiful temps and sunshine. Wish I could enjoy it - I'm on Jury Duty! Oh well! I'm happy to do my civic duty! Enjoy your lunch with your boys and your mom! Thanks, as always for hosting us all!

  9. Joanne,
Our heat wave has finally ended after 6 days of mid 90's, tropical dew points and high humidity...I was stuck in the house for all of it...Yesterday was a beautiful day with temps in the 70's, low humidity and a good breeze...I opened up all the windows to let the fresh air in after a week of having the house closed up with the shades drawn, trying to keep that hot Sun and air out...Thanks so much for hosting each week!! I hope you are enjoying your week!!
    Hugs,

    1. Yay! I am so glad your heat wave ended-- sounds like we had very similar weather with temps breaking right around the same time too.

  12. It's funny, I like summer with the boys, but summer is my least favorite season: too hot and muggy so it makes it difficult to enjoy the outdoors.

    1. We don't usually have that problem up here... just a week or two now and then when it's really hot/hazy/muggy/ uncomfortable but most days it's in the 80's or low 90's with a nice breeze.
