Talking About It Tuesdays #24

I still feel like I am playing catch-up after arriving home from vacation this past Thursday. It has been busy with all of Alec's last week of things; tonight we have senior awards night! I've also been making thank you cards for his grad. party, helping him get 30 teacher gifts pulled together (he's baking homemade cookies-- but a few varieties since he checked with them all for food allergies), and helping him decorate his cap, as well as cleaning out his closet and donating all his uniforms to the school. I did find time to visit ALL the links from last week's party and pin them. We had just under 60 links!

The link with the most views from last week's party: It was another tie!

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

    1. Thank you! I think after today everything will slow down and feel much less hectic. It's been tough because his school allows work/study days and he hasn't been in the building since last Wednesday so everything feels very last minute.

    1. He just made two types of chocolate chip cookies; one batch using the Tollhouse cookie recipe and another using a gluten-free/vegan recipe he found online.

  18. Visiting all of the links is quite impressive! And making the cards for the teachers... I haven't done teacher's gifts in a few years: I just don't have it in me to do one more thing even if I have time. We just got back on Monday and I have been catching up around here. Working on cleaning/organizing certain areas: today was the garage. Tomorrow my car! Next will be boys closets. Including my oldest: I want him to make sure what clothes he wants to keep and what he needs before college. Mainly he might want some new tees.

    1. That's why I was cleaning Alec's drawers and closets out too. I knew he was going to need more clothes before heading off to college since I can't remember buying him much of anything in well over a year and he's grown a lot. It was really important to him to make every teacher he had ever had over his 4 years a gift and he started planning this out his junior year so I decided to just suck it up and help him out. :)
