Share 4 Somethings in April

Tomorrow is the last Saturday of the month and time for Share 4 Somethings with Jennifer. This year we're sharing some things we've loved and/or disliked, accomplished, some things we've improved upon and/or that need improvement, and noticed

Loved/Disliked: I know you are all probably sick of hearing me talking about it but I seriously had the best time meeting up these lovely ladies in Nashville. It was definitely a big highlight of the month!

I loved seeing mother nature put on a show this month too; we had the most incredible sunrise one day and, of course, seeing the eclipse was really neat too (even if we weren't in the path of totality).

I disliked not having a car for most of the month. My car is less than 2 years old and has been in the shop for a couple of weeks while they fixed the flex hoses and muffler.

Accomplished: I was so proud of myself for making all the cards I needed for the month ahead of time... and then I forgot to mail them in time to make it to most everyone for their birthdays!

Improved upon/needs improvement: I pulled out my deck chairs and got to use them for a few days between rainstorms. I realized that if I sprayed them with the waterproofing spray we got at the shoe store (that works on any fabric!) I wouldn't have to worry about them soaking up all the water from our rainstorms so I can use them a bit more often!

We also noticed that Alec has really improved in track; now that he has more meat on his bones and is developing more muscle tone he can throw farther.

Noticed: The trees and things are finally starting to bud!

  1. Nashville for sure was the highlight of my month too!! I am so glad you took a chance and came! Is your car fixed yet? I know that does make the month seem long to be without one. Enjoy your Friday!

    1. Luckily they were for adults where I don't feel like the "on time" matters quite so much when it comes to birthdays.

  20. A girls' trip, what fun! I would be talking about that too! For the eclipse, you were lucky to see it. I was at work and could not get out to see it. Could only see out my window, not upward to the sky. Thank you for sharing the images.
    Take care and best wishes.
