Talking About It Tuesdays #13

How's life treating you this week? Good I hope!  Can you believe that we are already at the end of March? A quarter of the year is already over. It's weird how I feel like the days can often drag on but yet I also feel like we were just celebrating the new year.  But the end of March means we're getting closer to April vacation and I can not wait! I'm looking forward to sleeping in and just vegging at home. Anyway, it's' time for Talking About It Tuesdays and I can not wait to see what you'll be sharing with us this week!

  20. My son and I were just talking about how spring breaks used to be longer. Now in this area we get about four days and it is back to school. Not a lot of time to do much. We took a bit of a spring break this week after my son hit his head at school and we had to watch him for a concussion. Luckily he's doing well.

    1. He gets a full week off in mid-April but we used to have a February vacation that was also a week long. After a few really harsh winters where schools ran out of time to make up those missed days most schools did away with February vacation but April vacation was already written into all the teacher's contracts. However, my son plays spring sports and they have practices and sometimes even games during April vacation so those kids that play spring sports are expected not to travel.... which is fine since we had never traveled in April anyway.
