A Dozen of My Favorite Murder Mystery Series & Authors
It's been awhile since I shared some of my favorite books and genres and today I've decided to focus on murder mystery authors/series. I love a good mystery!
1. J.D. Robb's In Death Series
2. The Cupcake Murder series by Jenna McKinlay (wonderful cupcake and frosting recipes are included too!)
3. Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich
4. Mary Jane Clark
5. Carol Higgins Clark-- any will do but I really like her Regan Reilly series
6. Mary Higgins Clark-- again I like all that I've read so far. The books where she teams up with Carol Higgins Clark are great fun too.
7. Lucy Foley
8. Sally Hepworth
9. Good Girl's Guide to Murder Series by Holly Jackson
10. James Patterson; particularly his Alex Cross series
11. Linda Castillo's Kate Burkholder series
12. Shari Lapena
Great list! I am reading The Book of Lost and Found by Lucy Foley right now. It is so good! I think you would like Lucy Clarke. I just read a fourth one of hers and I think it´s my favorite. I´ve heard of many of the ones you´ve listed here but not read them. I will check them out!
ReplyDeleteI do have a Lucy Clarke book in my stack of reading material right now. I did enjoy the one book by her I've read but hesitated to add her to this list since I have only read the one book so far.
DeleteLucy Clarke's One of the Girls is *wonderful*! I couldn't put it down.
DeleteFantastic list! I loved The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth.

I felt compelled to read them all; it's highly unusual for me NOT to read all the books in a series if I like the first one.
DeleteJoanne, I've read books by some of these authors. I love a good thriller/mystery book.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI have gotten into these more recently so I added a few of these to my reading list. I did enjoy The Guest List!
ReplyDeleteI listened to that one on audio and it was fun with some added sounds effects and different voices for each character.
