Encouraging Hearts and Home: Wreaths and Wall Hangings
I hope this first week of September has been treating you well! We're slowly trying to get into a routine and began homeschooling Tuesday. So far so good. We had lots of fall like weather throughout much of August and I had been thinking of pullout out all our fall décor but September brought with it a huge heat wave that has left me sapped of all energy. I'm still enjoying all the fall décor ideas though and thought I'd showcase a few of the wreaths and wall hanging ideas that were shared at last week's party.
A few of my favorites from last week's party:

That Halloween Wreath is everything! Do I attempt it? Ha! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou know; those ribbon wreaths are a lot easier to make than they look. I bet you could do it!
DeleteMy grand-girls would absolutely love the Halloween wreath!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this party. My entry number is 6.
You're welcome!
DeleteI am back!
ReplyDeletePS, I have visited several posted blogs in the party. However, some I could not leave a comment. I do not use Wordpress.com and do not like having to sign into Facebook or any other platform to leave a comment. I tried to follow this party's rules but.......
Yeah, sometimes I find that happens to me too where I can't leave comments and I figure at least I tried! :) I've had a few people tell me they can't leave comments on my blog either. I'm not sure why all these blogging platforms are making it so hard.
DeleteGood morning, Joanne! You’re having a heatwave too? Oh my! Thanks for the party and I hope Fall arrives. It’ll be awhile here in Texas with our 100 degree days still here.
ReplyDeleteYep! We are supposed to get lots of rain this weekend and cool thing off again by Monday but we'll see...
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteMy Link Ups are 20,21 and 22 this week...Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and for your kind comment!! And thanks so much for hosting this lovely party!! Deb
Yes! I have too! No hiking for me this week.
DeleteI'm over this heat wave and 90 degree weather! It's so hard to think of fall when it's so hot out. Enjoy the rest of the week Joanne.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Somehow I don't mind it nearly as much when it's not during the school year and I can escape to the beach/ shoreline.
DeleteJoanne, thanks so much for hosting and may you have an awesome weekend.

DeleteAll very pretty wreaths and I love the framed crochet plaques! I bought a really cheerful, large fall wreath full of sunflowers and pumpkins, in Home Depot of all places, for only $19. I was shopping there to buy lightbulbs...lol Thanks for hsting every week!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fabulous deal!
DeleteBack to school started for us yesterday and it is definitely a struggle getting this routine worked out! Wishing you a successful year of home schooling, my friend. Thanks for hosting the party!

Aw, thank you! I hope you all settle into your new routine quickly.
DeleteWe got a late summer heat wave here too, so odd. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteI swear the weather just does whatever it wants... and I try to just go with it but sometimes it's a struggle.
DeleteThank you so much for adding my Autumn grapevine wreath to the list of features! :) I appreciate it so much.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! It is so cute-- I almost always make a grapevine wreath for my front door.
DeleteI am in awe of the creativity! I should decorate for Halloween this year, not sure I did last year!
ReplyDeletexo,
Kellyann
I don't think I've decorated for Halloween since my boys were little.
