August's Prime Purchases
Since it's the first Monday of the month it's time for Tanya's Prime Purchases party. I bought hardly anything on Amazon last month so this should be a pretty short post!
I did buy this pretty pink kimono I've been wearing.
Evan decided he wanted to try learning piano this year so I bought him this book and keyboard; it's for his "music" credit and I really hope he likes it. (I know it seems expensive but compared to other high school curriculum it really isn't).
I bought this new fall sweater and a plain black tank to wear under it.
And, finally I bought this cute linen blazer that I thought would be perfect for early fall (and then again in spring).
Linking up with: Fine/whatever,
The clothes you got are really cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove that fall fringed sweater! Looks like a great staple for the fall wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with the style as soon as I saw it and the colors are just perfect for fall.
DeleteKeep us posted on Evan's progress with that piano book! I need to get that for myself!
ReplyDeleteI will! It comes with access to online lessons too so I've already warned him it's something HE needs to be sure to do most days like Duolingo-- both lessons that have zero to do with me!
DeleteYou still had some great purchases! Love the linen blazer! And wishing Evan lots of fun with this piano lessons!!
ReplyDeleteOnce again I didn't get around to work on my amazon post, I bought so much these past few months!!
Thank you! I hope he has fun with them.
DeleteThat Fall sweater looks so cozy! Hope you’ve had a great weekend my friend!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! We had a very nice weekend at home.
DeleteI love the fall sweater!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that just perfect!? It's not like I need a new sweater but I just could not resist.
DeleteI love the sweater and the blazer! Yea for a light shopping month! Thanks so much for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting each month.
DeleteI love that you got a blazer. They are so fabulous for any season really. And that kimono? Just wait until next week, because I'll have some ways you can wear it and switch it up.

DeleteOh, that sweater looks amazing! I can't wait to see it! Good luck to your son with the piano playing. My son taught himself to play, too. I forget what he used to do it, though.

Thank you! I hope he's motivated enough to give it a real try.
DeleteLoving that kimono on you and your new fall purchases as well- so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat kimono is pretty, it looks perfect for the summer.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Evan with the music.
Thanks! Day 1 went well; not we'll see how long he keeps it up.
DeleteI really like the kimono, it looks so soft and flowy!

It is really soft and flowy. It goes with a lot of things in my closet already too.

DeleteLove the fall sweater too, can't wait to see photos of it!
ReplyDeleteI already have a few outfit ideas planned!
DeleteI used that exact same piano book during the covid 2020 lockdown. I played 90% of that book, and then once the kids finally went back to school, a full year later, I quit. I miss it. But now I've moved and I don't even know where the cord to my keyboard is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. ~ April (storiesofourboys.com)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Now that I think about it; I'm not sure he even bothered to play today... I'll have to get on him about it tomorrow.
