Styling Spring Dresses With Ageless Style
When Amy suggested spring dresses for this month's theme I knew I had the perfect excuse to order those dresses I've been eyeing. See... I don't normally wear dresses but this year I have been making it a point to order dresses and skirts and I've actually been wearing them as well!
My favorite dresses tend to be maxi length and when I found this beautiful dress with giant, bright sunflowers I just knew I had to have it.

Thank you!
DeleteThis is such a gorgeous dress! I love the colors and print❣️🤩
ReplyDeleteThank you! The colors were a bit brighter in color in person but I didn't mind at all.
DeleteThis maxi dress is so pretty! Love the colors and print!

Aw, thank you!
DeleteThat is the coolest dress! Perfect to wear at the Botanical Gardens too!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!!
DeleteWow! This is just magnificent: you found a great dress: that print is gorgeous with the contrast with the black and the brights.

Funny, but when I saw the picture in your botanic garden post, at quick glance I thought you were by a pool, with a bathing suit and matching towel! The dress is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteLOL! My husband thought I was wearing a bathing suit when he first walked in the door that night too; must be something with the material or the style of the straps.
DeleteI don't usually wear dresses but I have bought a few short one's this year which I am wearing at the moment with a cadigan and leggings as it's still quite chilly here. Hmmf.
ReplyDeleteI do love a maxi dress. Yours is gorgeous, I love the bright sunflowers on it.
Thank you! The sunflowers was what sold me on it. I love sunflowers.
DeleteThat is a beautiful dress. You have inspired me to wear my dresses more often.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteSo pretty, Joanne! I love maxi dresses, too!
ReplyDeleteI just find them more comfortable than short skirts; maybe because I don't have to think about them as I move about.
DeleteSuch a cute dress. Comfy dresses are the best.
ReplyDeleteThey really are!
DeleteA print dress is such a great simple yet pretty option - this one is so colorful and fun, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I completely agree too; it even feels fun to wear.
DeleteIt's a perfect dress to wear to a botanical garden. Just beautiful! I never wear dresses either but ordered 2 just recently. Had to exchange them for a size down and really hope they will fit as I love the style and lengths which isn't happening often as am petite and most dresses are too long on me.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope the new sizes fit! It can be hard to find style, fit, and length that are all flattering.
DeleteVery pretty! Dresses can be nice and cool to wear in summer.
ReplyDeleteThey sure can be... but for some reason I so rarely reach for them.
DeleteSeriously that's such an amazing dress Joanne. I love to hear you say you've been wearing them more. I think they are the cats meow and I'm always surprised that more women don't wear them.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Jodie
I rarely wear them since we spend so much time in the woods and out hiking and in nature; which means some days I'm changing multiple times.. but I'm making my peace with that.
DeleteGosh! I was sure I'd commented on this, but it was still in my inbox so I knew I hadn't! I love this dress, especially the print! So fun. I can see you wearing this on a date night! Lovely, lovely lady!

LOL! I do that too! I definitely see me wearing this dress for a date night out.
DeleteBeautiful dress, love this :) Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteOh heavenly days, you look A-Mazing in this dress. And to wear it to the botanical gardens was so clever. You are like a portable garden yourself. Elegant, colorful, put together. Who needs a bunch of fuss and accessories with such a splendid dress. Head of the class (or the garden) with YOU!!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
