10 on the 10th; On the 12th!
I really wanted to join in with Marsha once again this month for 10 on the 10th but I already had posts scheduled for Monday and Tuesday! This month we have some rather fun and unusual questions to answer.
Want to play along? Here are the questions Marsha posed:
I think I'd rather have clothes made of flowers since I think they'd feel better against my skin; feathers can be scratchy and irritating.
I like both those nature sounds but if I had to pick I'd pick birds chirping.
Oh give me the tropical beach all the way! I have been dreaming of Caribbean life lately...
I hate peeps and I like jelly beans (though I am partial to certain flavors and brands) so Jelly beans!
Since I don't plant seeds (heck, I can barely keep full sized plants alive!) I'd pick a day at the beach... though preferably one with warm water. Our water never really warms up here.
I think it would be fun if everyone could pick their own color of grass! I'd most likely pick some shade of green or blue though.
I'd rather wear my sandals with neither but if I had to pick... um.. socks, I guess? Only since I find hosiery so uncomfortable.
I think I'd rather have flowers for toes since I'm not sure how I'd get anything done with flower fingers.
I've always thought both of these dances were a lot of fun and have fond memories of summer spent on Cape Cod listening to music around the town gazebo and being allowed to go down near the bandstand and dance to both these songs! If I had to pick one I'd rather do the bunny hop
I'd love to be a caterpillar because then I could turn into a beautiful butterfly!

Fun questions! I hope you get to a Caribbean beach soon. There's something about those turquoise waters and white sandy beaches- the pictures you posted sum them up nicely. You hate peeps? Do you not like marshmallows? I know they are not the same thing but to me they seem very similar. I love their sugary exterior and squishy sweetness.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I really don't like anything marshmallow!
DeleteSo many fun questions! I would rather wear flowers than feathers because feathers make me sneeze!
ReplyDeleteRuth@playworkeatrepeat
Yes! I was thinking it would either make me really itchy or make me want to sneeze.
DeleteThese are fun questions! I love exploring a city but I'd never say no to a tropical beach!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were a lot of fun too.
DeleteThis was so fun to read! Yes give me the tropical beach any day! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThat socks or hose question was a stumper, haha.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a theme of beaches going on in your head and I love it
OXOX

It really is!! I've even got my kids and husband watching Caribbean life now.
DeleteI'm guessing a beach vacation is in your future, Joanne! I'm with you on wearing flowers because I thought feathers would be itchy, too! Thanks for playing along!!

Thanks for coming up with such fun and unusual questions!
Deletefun questions and some gorgeous snapshots in response, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOoooof I'd take a beach retreat right about now, too! Love these sort of posts, and I think you and I would get along just fine haha
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks.
DeleteThis was a fun read. I'm the same as you with Peeps and Jelly Beans. Only certain brands and flavors for me too!
ReplyDeleteThe Jelly Belly brand and their pineapple/ coconut ones are my all time favorites.
DeleteI grew up in CA, and even in Southern CA the ocean is cold. I was so surprised the first time I went wading in the Gulf. I remember tensing up, prepared for a cold splash, and instead it was so pleasant. Definitely a beach vacation where to water is warm! Fun responses, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteYes! Our waters here in New England NEVER warm up so the warm waters of the gulf or the Caribbean are just wonderful. We actually inch into the water waiting for each body part to go numb before going in further. LOL
DeleteWe did have a lot of the same answers and reasoning for them!
ReplyDeleteI know!
DeleteI don't really like Peeps either, and they're made in a town that's like an hour away from me, haha oops. Can't get behind jelly beans either, though. I guess I'm really a Reese's eggs kind of gal!
ReplyDeleteIf that had been an option I would definitely pick Reese's over jelly beans any day!
DeleteThis is a fun post! It would be neat to see what colors people choose for their grass. I'd probably choose teal. I love your caterpillar/butterfly response.
