Things I've Been Loving Lately
This month's Not Just a Mom group is discussing what we've been Loving Lately
I hope you'll head over and check out my co-hosts posts too and if you wrote up one of your own please link it up with us below.
We will be continuing with our Not Just a Mom link up in the new year as well and hope you'll join us on the second Tuesday of every month.
Oh I really struggled with this post... is it awful that I just can't think of what I've been loving lately?
I finally decided to share all these shirts I bought at Macy's on cyber Monday. I bought waaay more tops then I needed assuming that I would be returning some but so far I am loving each of them. I debated about returning some anyway since I really have no idea where I'll wear some of them (like the black sequined top) but ended up keeping them all!
This asymmetrical top is a lot of fun with the flirty little cut out design and it's surprisingly warm too as the front is a double layer.
Ignore the wrinkles please; this was fresh out of the bag. |
I also bought this cold shoulder sequin top; though honestly I'm not sure where I'll wear it. But I was surprised over how comfy it is. I thought the sequins might make it itchy.
I can not wait to wear this black top with white trim for our family Christmas party with my in-laws. I love that this top can easily be dressed up or down too.
I am loving the jeweled straps on this beautiful chiffon blouse and the fact that it is my favorite shade of blue just makes me love it all even more! I already know I'll be wearing this for our next date night out.
I'm still waiting on this cutout top but based on how much I liked everything else that came in I'm fairly confident it will be a keeper as well.
What have you been loving lately?
We've already decided to keep the Not Just a Mom link up going into the new year; it's always the second Monday of the month. For January's link up we'll be sharing introductions into who we are and what we blog about and just any personal type information you want your readers/us to know.
All those tops have great features- love the sleeves on many of them. They look super versatile, too, so you know you can get a lot of wear out of them. I would be loving all of those tops too. I just received a coat that I ordered for one of my daughters from Macy's. It is so cute that I think I'm going to get the exact same coat for me!! I mean, the coat is from the junior's department and I'm certainly no "junior" but a coat is kind of a coat, right??
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I have absolutely ordered and worn things from the juniors department before.
DeleteI LOVE all of your Macy's finds- just perfect for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAll so cute, but that black top with white trim is my favorite! Thanks for the graphic for next year.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! That was the first top that arrived and I just LOVED it so much. Pretty sure I'm pairing it with jeans and my big black boots this Sunday!
DeleteThey are all great. I like the black with white trim the most!
ReplyDeleteThat was my favorite at first too; but now I'm not sure I could pick a favorite!
DeleteYou got some great tops here! My favorite is the flowy pink blouse, beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteI loved the color too; and it's so unusual for me to pick a bright pink like that.
DeleteI love the tops that you have bought, especially the pink one and the sparkly one is just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI think I might start linking up with you in the new year although I will do my post on a Tuesday as I do my meal plan post on a Monday. I do hope that's OK.
Of course! We usually leave the party open for 5 days in case someone needs/wants to post it a different day. We'd love to have you join us.
DeleteThose are all pretty tops and I love the sparkly one too for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAll of your tops are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYou look so good in the off the shoulder tops! Love the sparkles.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteOh, I can see why you would struggle to not keep them all! I love the off the shoulder look on others. I would just be too cold!! I really do like the black one with the white edging. So versatile and fun!

I definitely find the off the shoulder look to be a bit cool too and tend to not wear them in the winter much unless we have an unseasonably warm day.
DeleteI had a hard time thinking of items for today's post, but might be back tomorrow to link up. Thanks for continuing into 2023!
ReplyDeleteI found it rather odd to struggle so much with such an open topic but maybe that's why? I could not narrow down my choices at first.
DeleteThat pink one is fabulous. And the sequin top is truly a favorite. You and your husband have date night, so I see that as a contender. And if it's too cold to expose your shoulders, I have worn a lace top under one like that.

It's truly the only thing with sequins I own and I don't usually think of wearing sequins but I'm trying to branch out more and try new styles and patterns and fabrics I would normally just pass up.
DeleteYou pretty sparkly sweetheart you. Love these. Especially the sequins.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteThose shirts are beautiful! I especially love the cold shoulder one and the blue one with the sequin straps-- they look great on you! Lauren from Don't Mind Our Mess, not Anonymous :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteYou hit the jackpot with that order! I love the pink flutter sleeve and black sequins. So fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was really kicking myself for ordering so much before Christmas but I really did love them all when they arrived.
DeleteAll your tops look beautiful and I especially love the sequins one. I would have thought that it was itchy too as I have never worn sequins before. I'm so glad to hear that you are keeping the link-up going. I will have to get more organised as I have missed joining in the last couple 😞

I keep a separate calendar near my computer just for blogging and either at the end of the year/ or start of the new year I plan out any posts that I can ahead of time (our NJAM, the What's Up Wednesday, Currently, etc.) so that I don't forget any of them. I still might have to shuffle things around from time to time to fit in vacation or other seasonal posts but at least that way I remember them.
DeleteI love that sequin top the best, I think! It looks so good on you! It would be fun to pair with a fun skirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think a few of these would look cute paired with skirts.
DeleteWhat great finds!!! I really love the first black top; that cute blouse could be paired with jeans for a casual day for slacks for a dressy look and look great either way. You look great in everything you bought!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
