Encouraging Hearts and Home: Resting and Relaxing

One thing I try really hard to do this time of year is find little moments and opportunities to rest and relax; whether it's reading a book curled up with cocoa, eating a favorite dinner in front of a fun Christmas movie with the family, or getting crafty in my craftroom.  It can be so easy to speed right through the month otherwise.  Do you do anything to help your stay intentional and enjoy the whole month of December?

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  3. Oh yes, I enjoy the downtime during hibernation season, too! I do need to start doing more things like reading or crafting but lately I just want to stare at the television. Or play my color by number game on my phone! Haha. I just found this coloring game and I am addicted! I hope you have a relaxing December, Joanne!

    1. Yes, I have been watching SO MANY movies and so much TV and neglecting all my crafting, reading, puzzles, etc. I'm totally enjoying it though!

  4. Oh, Ellie's card is so beautiful. This year, all I've had is down time because I've been sick. I haven't been able to enjoy the Christmas season at all.

    1. It was so much harder to do when my boys were little; I am finding this is one perk of having teens I'm really loving!

  8. It is so important to find some time to really relax and enjoy the season. I am a little under the weather right now and suspect it's partly because I haven't done so.
