Encouraging Hearts and Home: Just Peachy!
Did you know that the United States has a national peach day? I didn't either but apparently it's August 22nd. In honor of one of the yummiest summer fruits I thought I'd feature some yummy peach (or nectarine-- peach's cousin) dishes from last week's party.
And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!
Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

DeleteYum! I love peaches but don't eat them often enough. I usually just end up throwing them in my shakes but they are so good in salsa and grilled dishes, too!

I don't think I have ever grilled them myself; I never think of grilling fruits!

DeleteSummer fruit!! YUM!
ReplyDeleteIt's always best when it's fresh and juicy.
DeleteWe are fortunate in Colorado to have peaches grown on our western slop called Palisade Peaches. They are large and so sweet! A true summer treat!
ReplyDeleteOh yum!
DeleteLove all things with peach! Now if I could only find some decent peaches in the stores around here!! Maybe I need to plan a summer vacation in Georgia for some delicious peaches! Thanks for the linkup!
ReplyDeleteOh bummer, we have been having great luck finding peaches and nectarines up here. Our local orchard has some ready for picking and I'm trying to find a not so hot day to go there and do that.
DeleteYour theme for this week reminds me that we miss the Colorado peaches so much. Who knew all peaches weren't that delicious??

Oh I have definitely had some that tasted like sawdust... but when they are good they are amazing!
DeleteOh, I love peaches. The best peaches I ever had were at a Georgia peach stand that we stopped at when we were driving home from Florida. I'll never forget how good that peach tasted! Worth every penny. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's why they are known for their peaches!
