Encouraging Hearts and Home: Creative Cards

I had to make a few handmade cards myself recently and I find that I almost always head to my Pinterest Board now to find some inspiration.  I'm always on the lookout for new layouts, new techniques, and new/ unusual shapes to make my cards.  I saw three different card tutorials linked up with us last week and I just could not resist sharing them as my featured favorites this week.  I hope you enjoy!

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  1. These handmade cards are so pretty! I wish I was more patient and creative to make beautiful cards like these instead of buying generic ones!

    1. I enjoy store bought cards too but usually search long and hard for one with just the right words.

  2. I always think I'm going to make more homemade cards and then when an occasion comes, I grab something ready made to save time. But I'm working on making a designated area for crafts so hopefully I'll get to use some of the great ideas I've pinned soon.

    1. I often make up a few extra cards when the mood to make cards strikes so that I have a few on hand for those times I don't feel like making them.

  4. For many years I enjoyed making hand stamped cards but I have not touched my supplies since moving to Colorado as I've been so busy with our grandchildren. I tried getting them interested in them but they prefer making digital art on their devices than with "old fashioned" stamps...lol
