Encouraging Hearts and Home: Creative Cards
I had to make a few handmade cards myself recently and I find that I almost always head to my Pinterest Board now to find some inspiration. I'm always on the lookout for new layouts, new techniques, and new/ unusual shapes to make my cards. I saw three different card tutorials linked up with us last week and I just could not resist sharing them as my featured favorites this week. I hope you enjoy!
And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!
Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

These handmade cards are so pretty! I wish I was more patient and creative to make beautiful cards like these instead of buying generic ones!

I enjoy store bought cards too but usually search long and hard for one with just the right words.
DeleteI always think I'm going to make more homemade cards and then when an occasion comes, I grab something ready made to save time. But I'm working on making a designated area for crafts so hopefully I'll get to use some of the great ideas I've pinned soon.
ReplyDeleteI often make up a few extra cards when the mood to make cards strikes so that I have a few on hand for those times I don't feel like making them.
DeleteThose cards are so creative and cute! Thanks so much for the features and for hosting.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteFor many years I enjoyed making hand stamped cards but I have not touched my supplies since moving to Colorado as I've been so busy with our grandchildren. I tried getting them interested in them but they prefer making digital art on their devices than with "old fashioned" stamps...lol
ReplyDeleteYeah, I tried to get my kids into card making or scrapbooking too but they wanted nothing to do with it!
DeleteThose cards are so fabulous! It's so special to receive one!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is!
