Encouraging Hearts and Home: How Does Your Garden Grow?
We're just starting to see buds and blooms and I even went out to check on my gardens one day this week; just to see how much work I have to do to get them ready. Since I have gardens with perennials I don't usually need to do much except trim dead planting and rake leaves. I was struck by some lovely garden/ plant themes from last week's party and chose to feature them this week. I hope you enjoy!

You're welcome! I'm happy to do it.
DeleteAhhh, I am so ready for the spring blooms and sunshine! I was so excited to see some of my flowers popping up through the frozen ground! They are way more resilient than I in this weirdo weather!

Oh me too! Our weather has been all over the place too.

DeleteNo buds on trees here yet. We have been having an unusually cold spring.
ReplyDeleteWe have buds... but they don't seem to be getting any bigger at all!
DeleteI have already planted some tomatoes and jalapenos. They are about the extent of my vegetable garden. But my husband and I planted flowers this past week. We did a major overhaul of our flower beds to make things easier to keep up. I'm sitting on the patio this morning enjoying our handiwork.
ReplyDeleteOh I bet that feels wonderful! We are still waiting for warm weather and the threat of frost to pass by.
DeleteIt's Autumn here in Australia so things are going to sleep in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a very late start to spring here so things are just barely starting to crop up here. LOL
DeleteRight now we are seeing the cactus bloom, but that's about it for flowers here, haha.

Definitely no cacti here!
DeleteWe also plant perennials but find there is always something that needs replacing or pruning back. Happy gardening!
ReplyDeleteVery true! I really to go through and weed my gardens but it needs to be just a bit warmer first.
