Encouraging Hearts and Home: Hello, February

With Valentine's day just another week and a half away I have been busy making cards and settling on little gifts for all my guys.  I've been wearing lots of red and pink and focusing on love-- loving winter, loving the snow, loving the little things everyone in this family does to help one another, etc.  So with all that in mind I just had to pick a few Valentine favorites from last week's party.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  1. Fun features, Joanne! I am not all that into Valentine’s Day but I did just buy myself a heart shaped box of chocolate truffles that I hid in the basement and eat secretly so I don’t have to share with my kids! And I did get out my few festive Valentine’s sweaters to wear this week! Have a great week, my friend!

    1. I bought myself some chocolate truffles to and I have hid them from my family as well! LOL. Though I do typically get my boys a small box each and make a card for them.

  2. I still get giddy about Valentine treats and decorations...they bring me right back to my childhood and now I love seeing the magic through the eyes of my girls :)

  3. I am sending books to the grandkids instead of Valentine's cards this year!

    1. Isn't it? I might have to start looking for a heart wreath form for next year. My door could use something cheery this dreary month.
