What I've Been Buying on Amazon

I didn't buy nearly as much stuff on Amazon in December because I did most of my Christmas shopping in November.  There were a few out of the ordinary things I needed though and I just knew Amazon would come through for me.

Things like all of Ian's last minute graduation supplies: large plates, small plates, cake topper, tablecloth.

A fun holiday outfit for me!  Griswold sweater, fun holiday themed earrings, a pair of jeggings (that I just LOVE!)

Alec has a birthday in January and I bought him this pizzelle maker

Evan has been sleeping with a fan on most nights to try and drown out outside noises (as well as the ringing in his ears) that keeps him awake.  It's working really well but with our cold winter nights I thought he might like to try a white noise machine-- this one also has 6 nature sounds.

I bought of the younger boys these fuzzy slipper socks

I did have quite a few of our usual subscribe and save items showing up; like usual.  I found that a year or so ago it saved me lots of time and energy to have things like deodorant, shampoo, body wash, etc. shipped automatically to us.  You can read more about those types of things here.

    1. I was thinking the same thing when I got it... but I do think they are much thinner than traditional waffles.

    1. Yep; my son made a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting as a filling and the cake top with chocolate frosting on the sides and peanut butter cups all around. It was yummy!

  16. That pizzelle maker looks like fun. I don't know what a pizzelle is...cookie? waffle? But they sure are pretty. Thinking they would be good with jam or powdered sugar or syrup.

My granddaughters all sleep with sound machines. I would love to have ocean or rain sounds when we sleep but PC needs absolute quiet. We have that very machine here at our house for when the grands visit!!

    1. Sort of a very thin waffle that has a crispy cookie texture and they are usually dusted with powdered sugar. From what I have read they also sell a tool that you can use to roll the pizzelles into a cone shape when they're warm and then you can fill them with frosting or whipped cream (I guess?). We can't wait to experiment!
