Winter Bucket List (2021-2022)
I like to write up a seasonal bucket list each season to remind myself to take the time to enjoy and make the most of each season and not just get caught up in the day to day. However, I often struggle with making my winter bucket list because I'm not the biggest fan of winter. I've been trying for a few years to use the power of positive thinking to fool myself into thinking I actually like the cold, ice, and snow but I'm not always successful with it.
1. Have a family game night
2. Put together a puzzle or two
3. Go snowshoeing
4. Have a Pj/movie day
5. Read a book by the fire
6. Drink homemade hot cocoa
7. Check out a museum
8. Plan our summer vacation
9. Have a Valentine date night
10. Make homemade soup and fresh bread using two new recipes

Oh I love this list- I typically dislike winter but having a list like this makes you focus on the positive- best of luck getting it all done!

DeleteLove this list!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love all of these things! I used to hate winter, but the older I get, the more I love it. I think I just love the fact that we have zero to do in January. All of the other months are so crazy. Plus I LOVE being cozy.
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite; the older I get the more I realize I don't enjoy winter. Each year that cold weather seems just a bit colder and I have a harder time keeping warm.
DeleteI am so ready for some snow!
ReplyDeleteI'm good if it holds off just a bit longer...
DeleteI hope we have a Valentine Date Night too. Sounds like some fun activities planned out!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIt sounds like you have some great plans. A bucket list is a great idea to give you some motivation in the winter to do fun things x
ReplyDeleteYeah, and I find winter is the season I need that motivation the most.
DeletePlan a summer holiday sounds like a dream to me! Two years in a row of not visiting the UK because of Covid is long enough!
ReplyDeleteI think we're planning two vacations for next year--- one for Tennessee and I'm hoping to get in one to Florida next winter too if I can convince the family!
DeleteGreat list. My to-do list is to get the heck outta Minnesota! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that!!
DeleteThese sound like wonderful things to do in winter Joanne, and certainly staying inside with a puzzle or a book are a great thing to do in our hot summer too! Enjoy the cosiness of your winter. Wishing you a safe and happy Christmas and 2022 and thank you for visiting my blog this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat bucket list, all wonderful things to do in winter! I've never been snowshoeing but it sure sounds like a fun activity!
ReplyDeleteThank you. We started snowshoeing a couple years ago and really enjoy it.
