Encouraging Hearts and Home: Getting Ready for Turkey Day

Here in the United States we have Thanksgiving next Thursday and I am deep in preparation mode; planning our menu, thinking about table décor, getting the house cleaned, etc.  My features this week are all from last week's party and helped inspire me to get a move on!

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  2. I feel like it is the calm before the storm because of the upcoming holidays. Like you, I'm already preparing, but I'm also trying to appreciate the peace and calm because I know we have a busy month ahead.
    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    1. Thankfully our month isn't usually that busy; but we tend to have weekends or clumps of days here and there that are busy... with plenty of downtime in between.

  7. We are keeping it super low key this Thanksgiving! I might even just order out food. Ha. Thanks for hosting the party, my friend!

    1. We keep it very low key each year; it's usually just us 5 and I only cook our favorites. This year the 2 moms are joining us (and my step father!) but everyone is bringing something so I actually have less to make. We wear jeans and comfy clothes and watch movies.
