Encouraging Hearts and Home: Focusing on Gratitude

A few years in a row I participated in a Thankful challenge on social media where we posted one thing we were thankful for each day of November complete with a quick photo or image and it really stuck with me.  I started encouraging my boys to think of November as gratitude month as well.  I'm sad to say we've gotten away from this habit as they've gotten older but I still try to keep the whole family focused on being thankful for all the blessings we've been given in this life.  This week's features are all from last week's party and have to do with gratitude and being thankful.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  8. I love the idea of projects and tasks that remind us of things we're grateful for. Every year for Thanksgiving, my mom would have everyone write on the inside of our own Fall themed card the things we were thankful for, and then we'd place them onto our Fall themed Christmas tree (because we kept ours up all year long). Since we sold my childhood home, and she downsized, we haven't done this, but it's something I always remember.
