Friday Favorites: New Hampshire Weekend
We had a fabulous week that just seemed to fly right by. In fact it was 8:20 on Thursday night before I even realized that the next morning was Friday and I had no post written! I thought I still had another day in there to get things done.
My husband and I headed up to Loom Mountain in New Hampshire Friday night. We arrived late and while the hotel was not my favorite the hiking views sure were! We went on two really great hikes; one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Alec finished up his sophomore math credit (honors geometry) already with a 97 average for the year! They've moved him onto next year's Algebra 2 work. It's so funny since he thinks of math as one of his harder subjects. I'm so proud of how well he's doing in school.
I worked really hard for two days straight and got the bathroom repainted and put back together. I think I'd still like to paint our light fixtures and repaint our trim work so the white is a bit fresher but I am loving this color! Such a fun change from the tan. (We still need to replace the tub faucet and I'm debating about spray painting the light fixtures black but not right now).
We've had some beautiful sun rises this week!
awesome your post
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun filled post! Those hikes all looked stunning! Good job Evan! I love your new bathroom color. It's always such a great makeover to repaint! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a wonderful makeover! We had a few holes in the walls from repairing some plumbing recently so it was a good time to change up the color scheme.
DeleteNice photos of New Hampshire! Congratulations on the bathroom! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI would've waved when you drove by my exit had I known ;) Love it up at Loon- great area!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I did think of you as we were driving up there!

ReplyDeleteWe were thrilled to find time before his new job starts since we really don't know when he'll be able to time off next.

I ordered a few pictures to put up on the wall this weekend and then it is finished (for now.. until I get the urge to paint the trim and fixtures).
DeleteWow! What an incredible hike.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Dawn
Thanks!
DeleteSo very beautiful. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteOh those New Hampshire photos are gorgeous, but I think the sunrise pictures are even better! I love that you can't even tell where the lake ends and the sky begins. How awesome that y'all get to see that view right from your own home.
ReplyDeleteI love those days when the lake is so calm that everything is reflected perfectly.
DeleteSo many beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteI hate when I think I posted and then realize it didn't happen.
I've been doing that so often lately! I used to blog a good week ahead but have been falling behind more and more lately... just not motivated to blog I guess (because we aren't any busier than usual).
