Encouraging Hearts and Home: Spring Cleaning

I know it's just about that time where I should do a nice deep cleaning of the house.  In the spring I try to clean some of those places I don't think to clean all that often during my weekly cleaning-- things like washing all the windows, inside cupboards, behind the appliances, etc.  And every year I think of my grandmother who used to wash EVERYTHING in the house even ironing all her sheets, draperies, and linens before putting them back.  We had a few posts last week dedicated to cleaning and I thought this was the perfect time to feature them.

And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home. We hope to provide a space that builds each other up and lends a helping hand along the way. With all the negativity in the world, let's shine a positive light!

  7. We made a start then life became busy and now we need to get back to it. I remember my mom doing serious spring cleaning every year. When I was young my sister and I were in charge of washing all the screens while my mom and dad washed the windows. We will probably pay someone this year to wash ours : )

    1. We have hired window crews to wash ours before. We have so many windows that we can't reach-- inside or out.
