Prime Purchases in February
After spending January working on replacing curtains and pillows in our dining/ living room, February had me turning my sights on our kitchen. I found some fabulous pieces for it on Amazon.
I bought this rug for in front of our kitchen sink.
We used to have swags in our kitchen window and when I bought these new curtains I had to buy some new rods to go with them; I found these in both sizes I needed.
We needed new kitchen towels; our old ones were stained and dirty looking.
I bought this curtain for over our sink.
Alec used some Christmas money to buy himself a new revolving cake stand.
We bought a couple new frying pans and cooking utensils too (wooden ones & colored ones)
At the suggestion of Andrea from Momfessionals I ordered a box of these delicious cookies--- OMG! They were a huge hit with the whole family.
I needed a nice warm winter hat and I LOVE this one with it's two layers of warmth.
That rug for your kitchen is so pretty! I need to try those thinster cookies, my family loves a box/bag of cookies! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThey are delicious and remind us a bit of Samoa's.

ReplyDeleteAren't they? I only bought the dark blue outer curtains but have been debating about buying the matching sheers.

DeleteI love those wooden utensils! They are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like that they are varnished so they hold up well to moisture.
DeleteI LOOOVVVVEEEEE those wooden cooking utensils! Adding to my wishlist and hoping that could be a Mohter's Day gift. ;) I saw those Thinsters at Costco and almost added them to my cart. I may have to next time now.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get them-- isn't it silly the things we get excited over once we become adults?! LOL
DeleteI think I saw those thinsters at Costco recently. I may have to grab them. I love all the blues...curtains, towels and cooking utensils.
ReplyDeleteThey taste so good.
DeleteWonderful purchases, Joanne. I especially love the curtains and the cake decorating turntable. I finally downloaded the Amazon Prime app on my phone--so handy to add things to my wish list that way.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I can't wait to try the turntable.
DeleteYou got some nice buys from Amazon this month. I like the pretty kitchen curtains!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteEverything you bought is blue or has blue in it! That's so interesting. I want to see your kitchen with all your new accoutrement. Do you have one on the blog?
ReplyDeleteYep! I don't think I do have a photo of the kitchen; I'll have to take one.
DeleteDo those cookies contain dairy? Because I would devour them all if they didn't!!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving your color scheme!
I'm pretty sure they must since they have chocolate in them.

DeleteI love the curtains! I also totally want a revolving cake stand, but I don't think I bake enough cakes to warrant it...
ReplyDeleteThank you! I've always wanted a revolving cake stand too and thought the same thing so I was pretty glad that Alec wanted one and used his own money (and storage unit) for it.
DeleteI really like all the blue!!! And that rug is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
