Photos of the Week; February 20th
Another I spy Saturday this week! Not my favorite week, picture wise but I do love how these prompts really challenge me.
– Progress- Adding urethane to the cabinets my husband has been building felt like real progress!
– Picture of a Picture- Snapped this picture of a picture of a picture while out hiking; the riverside area was home to Native Americans.
– Selfie – Snapped a quick selfie while out walking.
– Photographer’s Choice- Not entirely sure what caused this neat effect but I just loved this photo.

DeleteI am so excited for you and the progress you guys have been making on your cabinets! They really are so beautiful!! Love that effect you caught in your last photo; so neat!
ReplyDeleteWe started making the countertops this weekend and brought the cabinets home to sit in the basement...
DeleteVery cool effect on that last one!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh, I love your photographer's choice and your "sign" of winter photo -- it's so detailed.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteStunning photos as always. I love the design in the ice photo. It looks like the ice is trying to look like a giant snowflake. So excited for your cabinets! I'm going to be painting mine soon and I seriously can't wait. I've hated my cabinets since we moved in, but I just can't replace them now. I love that your husband is making them! That's definitely beyond my skillset.
ReplyDeleteBeyond my skill set as well; I can handle sanding, staining, and urethane but that's about it.
DeleteWow, what a terrific capture in that last shot. The ice looks metallic. Like sheets of metal. Your cabinets are lovely. Is that oak? Going to be so pretty in your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteAnd best of all...YOU! You wear faux fur and snow so well!!
Thanks! The top cabinets are made of Oak and the bottom cabinets are made of walnut.
DeleteThat last shot is incredible! Your cabinets are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you.

DeleteA wonderful series of images! I believe you had fog on your lens for the last shot but I like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteYour link is a great addition to 'My Corner of the World' this week!
It might have been fog; though I was inside so perhaps not?
