Top 10 Posts of 2020
I love looking back through my old blog posts one last time as we bring one year to end and start another. I like to look back and see which ones were popular; then try to figure out why! Sometimes it's really obvious to me and other times I am completely stumped but I still like to look back and see. I hope it helps me be a better blogger.
1. Friday Favorites: The Week we Went to Ikea -- Ah January 2020, when life was normal and we didn't need masks! Alec and I had a great time celebrating his birthday with a fun day trip to Ikea and other assorted stores. We went hiking with a group of friends and cooked up some yummy recipes.
2. Making a Keychain for Mom Using the Cricut -- I am always trying to branch out with new Cricut crafts and just love knowing that readers are enjoying them too!
3. My Favorite Historical Fiction Novels about WWI & WWII-- I was thrilled to see that my readers seem to like historical fiction as much as I do!
4. Prime Purchases of March -- Why this Amazon Prime purchases post was so popular remains a mystery to me though I was glad to see that my readers enjoy Amazon posts as much as I do; just wait until you see all the highlights of what I bought over December!
5. Let's Look Inside My Purse-- I find that almost anytime I link up with Erica and Shay I find a whole bunch of fun blogs to read and my pageviews are higher than normal. I really enjoyed their Let's Look series this year and it seems like my readers did too.
6. Friday Favorites: Shelter in Place Week #2- I found that so many of my Friday Favorites during our shelter in place weeks had lots of pageviews. I think that we were all pretty bored at home and enjoying a bit more time online. We enjoyed lots of hiking and baking while at home... something that we seem to do most weeks anyway.
7. Friday Favorites; Shelter in Place Week #6-- Another week of hiking and baking. I mean, really, what else was there to do during those weeks?
8. Let's Look at My Winter Wardrobe -- I so rarely do any sort of fashion posts so I was pretty stunned that this was one of my most viewed posts! I am hoping to do a few more wardrobe posts this year at least quarterly if not monthly.
9. Mother's Day 3-D Floral Craft -- I was so thrilled to see that my all time favorite craft project was a huge hit with my readers!
10. Pantry Re-Organization-- I have been thinking of reorganizing our bathroom closet even before I discovered that the pantry reorganization I tackled last January was so popular. It has been nearly a month since I bought my new baskets and bins and this pantry is still working so well for us.
