May's Prime Purchases

I ordered so much this month that I'm going to break this into two different posts!  Today's post is going to be everything we've ordered not including my clothes. I'll share the clothes I've been buying on Wednesday (hopefully most of it will have arrived by then!).

We needed all sorts of household items that I'd normally pick up at Target or the pharmacy but with us sheltering at home for 95% of the month I found it easier to just order those items we needed...

Thing like hydrocortisone cream

My makeup

Women's multivitamin

Nail polish strengthener

Vitamins for the boys; they no longer had the gummies in stock so we're trying out these but Evan is struggling to swallow them.

Disposable masks.  We thought about making our own reusable cloth masks since I do know how to sew and own a sewing machine but I really don't like the feel of the masks or the fabric on my face.  This box of disposable ones are a bit lighter and easier to breathe through but I like that they just loop around my ears and not my whole head.

I was having a hard time finding some things I regularly buy at the grocery store and found them on Amazon!

My favorite iced tea in single serving sizes

Dishwasher detergent tabs

Flour; this two pack of 10lbs bags should last us a good long while.

Gum.  We go through a lot of gum and typically buy 3 cases at Bj's-- one regular, one cinnamon, and one mint.  I realized I could buy the same packs on Amazon and using their subscribe and save they'd just arrive at our door every month or two as needed.

We did a few home trims for all the guys in the house using some borrowed clippers and decided to order a pair of our own and a barbershop cape to go with it.  Now that they've arrived our hairdressers is opened back up.  We debated about returning them but ultimately decided to just keep them.

Things to keep the boys busy!

Evan has been wanting a keyboard to play games on the xbox and ordered himself this keyboard and matching mouse; it's pretty neat the way they light up.

Alec and Evan had both run out of reading material too so we ordered Jinxed, 5 World Book 4, Night of Dangers-- Adventurer's Guild Book 3, Explorer Academy book 3 & book 4.

Our springform  pan broke and Alec really wanted to attempt another cheesecake so we bought this one that comes with parchment paper linings.

He's also been wanting to get back into painting so we purchased this 10 pack of canvas boards and a set of assorted acrylic paints since our Michael's store still hasn't opened up yet.

Just for fun I bought a few garden decorations-- here & here

I also bought myself some new polish.  When I realized that my polish had lasted nearly a week without chipping I went online and bought myself a few other pretty spring/summer colors.  This pink, this aqua, and this purple.

My phone case broke so I ordered a second otterbox; I am loving this cute polka dot print.

Ian needed some shorts for summer.  We bought him one pair of these before we were ordered to shelter at home so we just purchased 3 more of the exact same ones.

Ian also needed some sandals. We found the Vionics that he typically wears.

Alec needed new pajama bottoms as the pair we bought him last month shrunk (A LOT!) in the wash. We tried this brand in an xl (thank goodness for adjustable drawstring waist!) and he loves them so I ordered him a total of 4 pair in assorted colors.  Even with washing they reach below his ankles and he says they are so comfortable too.

  2. I love reading these posts! My daughter also uses that body wash and loves it. I give my almost 15 year old Teen One A Days from Walmart - they are gummies and he loves them. He said they taste like sour candies.

    1. Yeah, I am definitely going to have to switch Evan back over to the gummies. Luckily Alec has been swallowing these with no problem so it wasn't a total waste.

  3. That is a lot of things! I might need the paints for Gabbie. We have the first Explorer Academy book but my kids haven't read it.

    1. I do use them but probably not as much as I should based on how many I have lying around!

  5. So many great finds!! I discovered that body wash at a local store a few month ago and loved it as well. Good to know it's on Amazon too, as I only shop at grocery stores at the moment (more like sending my husband shopping...)
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. You had A LOT of great finds this month. That is the face powder I use, but I'm thinking of finding one with just a little more coverage. Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases tomorrow!

    1. I rarely even think to use it! I typically only put on makeup when taking a photo or going out for a date night (which hasn't happened in quite a few months).

  7. How do you like the Method packs for the dishwasher? I use Finish tablets and they are okay but I am on the lookout for something new.

  8. We bought a new mouse that lights up, and headphones. We had some gift vouchers so the kids were treating themselves. I love that you managed to get flour.

    1. I am too! We have been reusing them for the most part even though I know they recommend not doing that but we are mostly wearing them out of concern for others so I figured why not? At least they'll last longer that way.

  12. Wow you did buy a lot. I love those nail polish colors. So pretty. I definitely need to get some masks for the girls for their dance class. It seems like a lot of people bought elderberry recently too.

    1. I really did! It's kind of scary how much I've been ordering! Lol. So much for the money we saved staying at home. We started taking elderberry this past winter and myself and my younger two boys who eat them regularly were the ones who didn't have the flu in the house despite the other two coming down with it.
