Encouraging Hearts and Home: It's Jarring

I'm always on the lookout for quick and easy craft projects to try.  Some of my favorites are using old mason jars and re-purposing or decorating them.  The three posts I'm highlighting today were taken from last week's link up and are all about jars; ideas for decorating them & different ways to use them.

Real quick before we get to today's link up I wanted to share my answers to this month's Monthly Musing:

1.  Corn on the cob.

2. Macaroni/ pasta salad

3. Yes! We eat al fresco all the time with the lake right off the patio it's wonderful to spend all our time outside.

4. We eat more grilled meats and cold salads of all kinds in the summer.

5. Would probably be this no-bake strawberry dream cake I made a few years ago.  I lined a 13x9 pan with Yodels I had cut in half, layered some sweetened strawberries over them (4 cups of sliced strawberries mixed with 1 cup of sugar), and topped the whole thing off with Cool Whip and some chocolate chips and extra diced strawberries.

6.  Strawberry shortcake all the way!

7. Sweet tea (but not just in the summer)

8. None of them; I'm not much of a condiment person.

9. Gas grill

10. Both!  I love ice cream but my skin seems to prefer if I eat yogurt pops or Popsicle.

  3. My favorite dessert is Strawberry Shortcake and I haven't made it or had it in years because I usually try to avoid sweets. But with everything going on in the world, I'm thinking of making it and just enjoying myself. :) Thanks for the party.

    1. I have a hard time with ice cream too as it makes my eczema flare up and some of the heavier ones like Ben and Jerry's will give me a stomach ache... but I do LOVE it.
