Favorite TV Shows Growing Up in the 80's and early 90's

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. And through the years I had SO MANY favorites! Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. Share 4 Somethings in March 2025

  The prompts for the entire year will be the same each month—some things we loved, some things we learned, some things that went well, and some things we let go of.  Some things I've loved: We loved our time at the orchid show; it was so nice and warm and sunny in the greenhouses and the flowers were so pretty.  We all LOVED Ovo so much! It was a fabulous show! Evan and I loved our day trip to the aquarium (even if we did wish it had lasted longer; it seems like the exhibits keep shrinking year after year). Some things I've learned: I learned some new recipes we learned so much about so many species of orchids at the show Some things that went well: The ice and snow have melted so we've had some great hikes; many of them with friends!  Hey, look at me finally remembering to write up a Hodgepodge Wednesday post! This week Joyce came up with some fun questions to answer.   1. March 15th is known as The Ides of March, the date on which Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 B.C....have you ever been to Rome? If so what did you love most about the city? If not, is this a place you'd like to visit?  Nope, I've never been but I wouldn't turn down a trip if someone was offering! It's not first on my Italy bucket list though.. Encouraging Hearts and Home: Focusing on Gratitude

A few years in a row I participated in a Thankful challenge on social media where we posted one thing we were thankful for each day of November complete with a quick photo or image and it really stuck with me.  I started encouraging my boys to think of November as gratitude month as well.  I'm sad to say we've gotten away from this habit as they've gotten older but I still try to keep the whole family focused on being thankful for all the blessings we've been given in this life.  This week's features are all from last week's party and have to do with gratitude and being thankful.  And Now, It's Time for This Week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!     Join your Encouraging Hearts & Home Co-Hosts each week for encouragement and support for your heart & your home .
