Christmas Home Tour 2019

We always decorate the whole house the day after Thanksgiving.  It's a whole family affair where my husband and boys cart all the boxes and totes upstairs for me and I get to decorate everything but the tree.  This year I was feeling pretty tired and wiped out and just not in the mood to decorate.  But I did my best and thought I'd take you on a little tour of what I did manage to get done.

I was a pretty good little blogger and even remembered to take some photos at night with everything lit up too.

I put up my candy cane wreath on our front door and set out a new holiday themed welcome mat.

In the foyer, I wrapped the railing with lit garland and put our little welcome reindeer out.  My girlfriend and her husband made this for my husband and I our very first Christmas in our very first home... which was just over 20 years ago!

I hung my little bears from the floor lamp and propped up this wooden sleigh that my grandmother hand painted.  Wasn't she talented?!

We propped one of our stuffed Santa's near the house plants on a cute little holiday stool.

In the more formal living & dining room I added a few touches too.

(truth be told; this is last year's photo as we currently have a puzzle spread out on the dining table!)

In our great room we put up our new tree and hung the stockings on the mantle.

I tucked a couple little metal reindeer in between garland and stocking holders too

    1. Thank you! My husband actually made them out of a nice heavy duty metal so they truly hold our stockings in place.
