Christmas Shadow Box Craft With the Cricut

With the holidays fast approaching I have begun putting together some Christmas crafts.  While I don't decorate the house or really start celebrating Christmas until after Thanksgiving I do like to get a jump start on all my holiday crafting.  Many of the crafts I make I use as gifts for family and friends and I like to get a head start.

Today I am sharing a fun craft I put together as part of our Happy Holidays Link Party that I'll be sharing all about tomorrow. I hope you'll come back and join us!

I bought this shadow box frame on Amazon and unpacked it all; making sure to save the packing foam and box for wrapping it all back up later.

I pulled out a few different sheets of printed Christmas paper I had in my scrapbooking supplies and laid out the bells I was planning to use to fill the shadow box; changing out the paper until I had a design I liked.

Then I turned to my Cricut to create the sayings.  I found this free SVG file for the sleigh bells saying, the bell, and even the cute little stars but I did add "Are you listening" to the bottom in a simple font.  I sized my image to fit and began cutting each layer.

I used transfer tape and my scraper to get the sayings onto the glass without any bumps or air holes.

Added in my bell and stars that I cut using white and glitter vinyl.

Then assembled my whole frame.

I love it so much that I might have a hard time parting with this one!
