Encouraging Hearts and Home-- Happy Halloween!
This is the first year in over 15 years that we are not going Trick- or- Treating. My boys all decided they're beyond those years and asked instead if we could do a movie night and allow them to pick their favorite treats and snacks. We're showing Hocus Pocus tonight and I hope the boys like it. What do you have planned?

My guys are finally done with trick-or-treating too. My son stopped a long time ago, but my daughter kept wanting to go. Now that she's in HS, though, it's all about the Halloween parties and friend movie nights.
ReplyDeleteI remember hosting a few costume parties in high school; we all kind of wanted to dress up but not really go door to door anymore.
DeleteY'all have fun tonite!! Happy Halloween!

Thank you!
DeleteI'm not sure if we will get any visitors due to the rain but I'm ready for the kids! Have a fun time!
ReplyDeleteWe're having quite a lot of rain today too.
DeleteWe are past trick or treating too. We are going out to dinner fully costumed and then coming home for a Tim Burton movie.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Dawn
That sounds fun! Hope you have a great time.
DeleteThank you so much for the feature! I'm going to try the pretzels next, and definitely doing pizza tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I don't know what to do tonight, it's been pouring all day and it's supposed to continue to pour all night. We may just do candy and pizza at home. And hopefully I can convince my kids to do a movie. They are 7 and 4, so trick or treating is still way high on their list!
You are very welcome! I was extra thankful for movies and candy tonight as the wind howled and the rain thrashed at our window the whole time.
Delete...my two youngest granddaughters are prime to dressing up! We are having awful weather tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe are too! I am so thankful to be staying in.
DeleteThanks so much for hosting!
