Prime Purchases in May

Oh boy did my credit card get quite a workout this month!  I ordered myself lots of new clothes on Amazon (even tried out Prime Wardrobe for several of the items) and liked so many of them so much that I decided to keep them all... and I don't feel the least bit guilty about it either!

We did need some typical household products like frontline for the cat, filter cartridges for the turtle tanks, and allergy medicine for me but then we had some more "fun" purchases too.

We just LOVE these erasable pens; my boys each pick a color and use just that one pen on all their schoolwork until it runs dry then they pick a new color.  We probably could have held off on ordering them until the fall but I knew I wanted to have them on hand just in case we decided to do some summer review work.

I ordered these conversation hearts for a fun and easy science experiment.  (Come back tomorrow and you can read all about our experiment!)

Alec wanted to make some homemade biscuits and we had no biscuit cutters so we ordered a whole set of them.

With all the new scrapbooking supplies I was gifted I still needed some more adhesive, some fish embellishments for an aquarium page I was putting together and I ordered a few baby scrapbooks to make some gifts.

I've lost enough weight in the last year that much of my clothes are getting baggy and I'm trying to find some new styles to fit me.  I ordered a couple of cute summer dresses; I kept this short sleeved one and ordered this jean jacket to go with it for those cooler days we're having lately. Both are quite comfortable!

I also ordered a few fun shirts:

I wore this adorable one for our anniversary dinner paired with some dark jeans.  I just loved it! The sleeves are sheer so it's lightweight enough for summer too.

I like this cute summer top so much that I am ordering another one in a different color.

This shirt is so incredibly comfortable and I find the side shirring to be quite flattering.

Some capri pants:  I brought these Lee ones with us on vacation and they fit perfectly!

I just loved the little side detail on these and can not wait to wear them.

And I even bought 2 pairs of shorts (typically I HATE shorts!).  I like these Lee ones so much I'm thinking of ordering another pair in a different color.

I haven't gotten to try these Gloria Vanderbilt ones for a whole day yet as our weather hasn't been quite that warm again but I just love this pretty coral color.

How about you? Have you bought anything off of Amazon lately?

  3. I love those Lee pants. I always have a hard time finding pants that fit just right and do not hug the body too much. These are mostly cotton and less spandex and do the job nicely!

    1. I have a hard time finding pants that don't gap at the waist and the soft cotton/spandex in the back prevent that too.

    1. Thanks; I did try but just could not get any decent selfies with lighting that didn't case me in one giant shadow. I'll keep practicing though.

    1. It sure can be dangerous! I love the idea of trying on clothes at home and only paying for what I keep.
