April Pinterest Challenge-- Busch Gardens Scrapbook Pages
It's time for another Pinterest Challenge! For this month's challenge I chose to use a Pinterest pin to give me some layout ideas for a few scrapbooking pages. I'm still working on our Florida vacation from the fall of 2017 and decided to just focus on the Busch Garden's pages I wanted to create.
In case you've missed the past few months of challenges:
we made some homemade marshmallows in January
some cheesy chicken chowder in February
creamy noodle turkey casserole in March.

I used this pin to guide my Busch Gardens scrapbook page. When I clicked through to the main page I found so many more great ideas that I ended up using a few of them to complete all three pages!
Once I had my papers where I wanted them, I cropped and mounted my photos then added them to the page.
Then I added in all the finishing touches like the page title, journaling, and little accents.
Here's my second page.
Each time I started by picking out my background paper and the accent colors or designs I wanted to use.

My third and final page.
Now, let's see what the other hosts have created ⇓⇓
How cool! I love the pages you created. I use to scrap book all the time and stopped for some reason. You just made me want to pick that hobby up again. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I stopped for a good two years and have just recently gotten back into it.
DeleteWhat a great idea for a Pinterest Challenge. I used to use scrapbook sketches all the time, but have moved to mostly pocket pages/Project Life in the past few years. I might just have to pull a few out and add some full 12x12s for a few special events. Your pages look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I often browse Pinterest for ideas with scrapbooking or cards and thought it would be perfect for this link up.
DeleteI love that you scrapbook. I used to! Now I just blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't scrapbook much but I do try to squeeze in a day now and then.
DeleteI have always sort of wanted to do scrap booking but thought it might take a lot of time. Your pictures make it look so worth the time. Saving those memories for the next generation is so worth it.
ReplyDeleteIt can be a bit time consuming but I do love looking back on them.
DeleteThese pages are so cute! I love scrapbooking and preserving the memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI miss scrapbooking so much! I wish I had time but blogging takes up all of my extra time now!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite tough to juggle the two.
DeleteYour pages are beautiful! I used to do a lot of scrapbooking, but my poor teenager's last pages were probably when he was about 4! I need to get back into it!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! I started scrapbooking when my boys were quite little and as much as I kept walking away to take breaks from it I did end up going back time after time because it is such a fun way to remember their childhood.
DeleteCute scrapbook pages! Busch Gardens is so fun. We used to go all the time when I was a kid. Great memories !
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed our trip so much!
DeleteI would love to go to Busch Gardens, and Mount Vernon, Monticello, and Jamestown-all in the same week. That trip is still on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteOh we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida (though the one in Virginia has been on our bucket list too and visiting nearby Williamsburg and all those wonderful historical places).
DeleteScrapbooking takes a lot of time to do as well as you do. I applaud it! And Busch Gardens sounds such fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Believe it or not I got all of these pages done in just one afternoon.
DeleteSo fun! I miss my scrapbooking days!
ReplyDeleteI was starting to miss them too so I decided to take it back up but only so long as it remained fun. I had quit because I was feeling so pressured to scrapbook every life event...
DeleteThese pages bring back so many memories, I love Busch Gardens! Lovely pages.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun.
DeleteHigh five. nice to meet another scrapper. I worked on pages today from a trip we took in October 2017. I don't think I will ever get caught up! Your pages look lovely and I like the way you showed us, step-by-step, how you put it all together. I use Pinterest a lot for layout ideas. My sister and I Skype together and scrap at the same time. Fun.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to scrap with your sister over Skype! I love that idea.
DeletePictures seem so much nicer and fun to look at on pretty pages. Yours turned out lovely. I haven't made scrap book pages in forever. I did an entire book for my first born and a partial of my second, but I totally slacked off on the other two...lol. I should get back into it :-)
ReplyDeleteI think so too! Thank you.
