Thanksgiving Week Favorites

Since we didn't do much schoolwork this week with the Thanksgiving holiday I thought I'd just focus on a few of my favorite moments and memories of our week.

1.  This cutie asking me to take a photo of him with his grandmother's cat.  He kept giggling and trying to get the cat to pose with him.

2.  My Thanksgiving table centerpiece!  I am not usually one to do much of anything with live flowers but I decided to buy two bouquets and try to make up a trio of mini mason jar arrangements and I just LOVED how they came out!

3.  All the help!  My three boys worked together to clean the house and even helped with food prep.  Alec made a delicious ice cream cake and rolled out the crescent rolls while Ian helped wash and cut up potatoes after my husband peeled them all.

4.  Watching Alec entertain his younger cousins.  He really is quite good with them!

Sorry it's a bit blurry but they were moving like crazy.
5.  This white chicken chili!  I have never made white chili before but we just LOVED it.  (recipe coming to the blog soon!).

  1. Your white chili looks great! You could use leftover turkey in it! I didn’t think about adding corn but my hub would love that.
You’re creating some great future husbands!

    1. Oh we totally could! We have TONS of turkey leftover that I have frozen in small batches for soups, pot pies, etc.
