Love to Learn-- Geography Craft idea

This past week the boys and I  decided to get a little crafty!

We decided to make a salt dough topographical map of the United States.  I've seen many variations of salt dough maps and as much as I always thought it would be fun to make them we never made time to do it.  I am so thankful that our Pinterest Challenges are pushing us to try and do more!

  3. This is so fun! I made salt dough Christmas ornaments a few years back. I wouldn't have thought to do something like this though! Thanks for sharing!

    1. We've made salt dough ornaments quite a few times but never thought to use any leftover dough for learning. Now that we've tried it I'm sure we'll do it again. It was surprisingly quick and we learned a lot.
