25 Days of Christmas Movies The Whole Family Can Enjoy

My boys and I always look so forward to making a good month long celebration out of Christmas.

Each year since we've began homeschooling we shorten up our schoolwork for December and focus on crafts, baking, and try to watch a fun Christmas movie each day until Christmas.

This year I thought I'd share a list of the movies we'll be watching.  While we have quite a few family favorites, each year we throw in a few new ones to watch.

3.  The Santa Clause (the boys will watch the whole series but I really only like the first one)

8.  Home Alone (again; my boys will watch all 4 but I prefer the original)

12.  Rise of the Guardians (I hesitate to call this a Christmas movie but my boys swear that is is about Santa and therefor has to be a Christmas movie).

    1. Oh that is a fun one! He's on his way home from college to win a bet with his dad but gets into all sorts of trouble along the way; mainly with his girlfriend.

  8. I have only watched four of those movies, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, While You Were Sleeping, and The Holiday, and only A Christmas Story is on my own list.
I don't know if my own list even has 25 movies, I like a mix of older Christmas movies, but also Christmas specials. Isn't it funny how we have our rituals? :-D

  10. Thank you for linking up to our list and these are some great movies. I've heard of almost all of them but not the Nicholas Cage one. Now I need to make my own list of movies to watch.
