Quick and Easy Homemade Garlic Bread

There is nothing quite like fresh garlic bread to go with some nice warm pasta and sauce.  It is a huge family favorite in this house and while we have many recipes for garlic bread this is one of our very favorites!  It's so quick and easy!

To make some nice fresh garlic bread you will need:

16 oz. loaf of fresh Italian bread
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp minced garlic
Sprinkle of parsley and garlic salt

Yep, I start with fresh bead from our local bakery; that's what makes this so quick and easy!

Slice open the bread and place face up on a cookie sheet.  (I always cover our cookie sheets with parchment paper for quick clean up).

I mix the melted butter and garlic together and then slather over the bread using a barbecue brush.

These little flecks of minced garlic make all the difference in taste!

Finally I sprinkle the bread with a bit of parsley and garlic salt then bake in the oven for 5 minutes.

Once heated through I turn the oven to broil for just two minute or so until it turns a nice golden brown.

We slice them up and serve them while hot.  Preferably with spaghetti and meatballs.
