Love to Learn Linky #34

My boys and I spent much of our weekend watching the weather for updates on the conditions in Florida.  Not only were we concerned for family and friends that chose to wait out the storms in their homes but we were anxious to see what it would all mean for our family vacation.

We always wait for the fall to take a family vacation when most other families are back at school and back at work.  We have so much fun when parks, resorts, and areas are less crowded and, so far, in our homeschooling journey we have always had great luck with the weather!

We were pretty sure our luck was not going to hold out this time... but it is looking like we are all set.  Our family and friends seem to have all made out well too and we are so thankful that the entire state was not as hard hit as originally predicted.

Of course our hearts go out to those that were heavily impacted and to all those battling natural disasters across the county.

Thank you for taking the time to join us today.  I hope you find some wonderful articles to read and please join with us in sharing all the fun ways we can learn.

  1. We are worn out from all the Irma prep and still trying to clean up, but it was SO much better than we were expecting -- we even already have our power back on, which I'm shocked at!
