52 lists week #36; Autumn Bucket List

This week's list is right up my alley!  When I saw: list your Autumn bucket list I did a little happy dance inside.  



Fall is by far my favorite season and so I always have a huge list of things we need to do to mark this wonderful season.

Fall Bucket List:

  • Go apple picking
  • Go on a hayride
  • Take the boys to the Zoo Boo days
  • Check out a local corn maze
  • Make apple pie
  • Drink apple cider
  • Go hiking (a lot!)
  • Watch all the leaves change color 
  • Go pumpkin picking
  • carve pumpkins
  • Make pumpkin pie
  • Rake leaves and jump into the piles
  • Go bike riding
  • Decorate the front of the house with mums and cornstalks
  • Make pumpkin bread
  • Roast pumpkin seeds with sugar and spices
  • Take the boys school photos
  • Stack wood and get some fires going in the fireplace
  • Snuggle up with a blanket and read a good book
  • Bring back Friday movie nights
  • Go on a picnic
  • Watch the sunrise
  • Watch the sunset
  • Create some leaf art
  • Make soup in the crock pot with fresh bread
  • Pull out all my scarves, sweaters and hoodies!
  • Bake up some apple crisp
  • Take a family trip to Salem, Massachusetts
  • Visit Pumpkintown
  • Build a blanket fort & read fall/Halloween books with the boys
  • Make candy or caramel apples
  • Take the boys Trick or Treating
  • Watch "fall" movies with popcorn and hot cocoa

  2. I love your list!! I will need to include some of your ideas into our plans for the season. We are taking our children on their first big hike this fall (my oldest is 6 and my youngest is 2). They are so excited.

  4. Looks like you and your family are going to have a lot of fun this fall! Pumpkin bread sounds like a great idea. I may need to add that into my fall plans too.

    1. I love it! I found one recipe once that had a frosting similar to those found on cinnamon buns over it... yum!

  8. Great list. I'm a summer lover, so letting go of summer is really hard for me. Probably because our summer is so short!
