Reading About Summer
Our library bag is always overflowing.
We request books so frequently and stop by our library so often that we're known on sight by all of our librarians. We often have a box of books waiting for us to pick them up; especially during the school year when we are really diving into science, history, and reading.
And yet it hasn't been up until recently that I have made sure to remember to include books for myself!

It is my indulgence; I read sappy romance novels, love stories, and stories about family struggles.

We are kindred spirits. Just this morning I finished Here's To Us. Fabulous novel. She is my go to author for summer reading. I have read every book and continue to seek out when her new releases come out. I have read Nancy Thayer's books too. She is good to but Elin H. Is the gal! Thanks for sharing on Book Wino.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe that I had never read any of her books before! I just love them and am sure I'll have read them all by summer's end.
DeleteCongrats! You were one of MOST VIEWED posts from last week's BOOK WINO party at Party at My Place. Will be shouting you out on Thursday!
DeleteThese look like such relaxing reads, especially while lounging at the beach or lake! I have seen a lot of Elin's books. I may have to pick one out soon. Which is your favorite of hers?
ReplyDeleteHere are my June reads: http://elle-alice.blogspot.ca/2016/06/june-book-reviews.html
They're perfect for lounging. I'm not sure I have a favorite though; they're all so good.
DeleteI'm still working on my summer themed book--got waylaid by other books. Enjoying getting to know your blog.

ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is great!
I love Nora Roberts books.
DeleteWhat a fabulous list of books- and I haven't read any of them yet! I'll have to put some of them on my library list!
ReplyDeleteThey are great! Enjoy.
DeleteI can totally relate. I had to get one of those boxes on wheels to accommodate all our library selections. Thanks for sharing at the #LMMLinkup.
ReplyDeleteOooh! A box on wheels; what a great idea. Then I wouldn't have to break my back trying to carry them all!
DeleteI totally received an Elin book yesterday...but now I can't remember which one! I totally think her books are perfect for summer and I loved the Rumor. Thanks for linking up with Spiel the Beans!
ReplyDeleteThey are perfect for summer; however I really want to visit Nantucket now!
DeleteI have so many of these books on my list to read! I adore the covers which is clearly the way to pick a book. ;) Thanks for linking with us!
ReplyDeleteClearly! I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but I totally do!
